We stumbled across the bullring as we were wondering around Alicante during a ship stop. We debated on whether to pay to see the inside and were so glad we did. It was very informative, especially for someone from the United States.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are delighted to hear that you decided to visit and that you found the experience informative. We truly appreciate your visit.
Thank you for creating a wonderful experience for our family. Our 7 year old grandson said it was his favorite part of his visit to Spain.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are absolutely thrilled to hear that the visit was a wonderful experience for your family and your grandson's favorite part of his trip to Spain.
There are electronic guides available in different languages, which provided good information about the respective stations. It was very interesting, even without real bullfighting.
Pleasant visit but a pity that the state of the arenas is so bad , water seepage everywhere , beautiful Toros heads but covered in dust!
We accidentally ended up on the street of the arena on our last day. We crossed over to take photos because of the statue. I had already noticed the arena from the castle on previous days, and even then I told my friend that I wouldn’t visit it—even if there were no bullfights. Since it was our last day, we decided to walk over to the building anyway. At that exact moment, it had just opened, and an older gentleman invited us inside. We bought tickets (€10) and went in. I strongly disapprove of cruel bullfighting, but as both an outsider and a critic, I decided to give it a chance. I did not regret it at all—it was very interesting. I learned a lot of things I didn’t know before about the bulls (toro bravo), the matador, the torero, and how the whole tradition works. I used an audio guide and listened in English. It completely held my attention, and you could walk through almost every part of the arena. The building itself is also a beautiful historic structure. Toward the end of the tour, you could even step into the center of the arena. There were only three other people inside besides me, which made the experience even more special. At the end, there was also a VR experience summarizing the whole tradition—it was great. So I would recommend it even to those who strongly disapprove of this cruel “spectacle.”
The building is kept in a good condition. Beautiful tiled walls. You are allowed to walk all around the bullring, so you see every aspect of the building. Even the doctors operating table and surgery for the gored matadors etc.
We liked it but we weren't warned that there was another activity in the ring and didn't get to visit well or go in to see it
What a fantastic experience, the personal audio guides worked perfectly, the 360° virtual experience was very lifelike, the bullring (still used today) was amazing as was the concierge Veronica; a most welcoming and helpfuly lady, note to Veronica's boss... Payrise?
Fantastic experience and insight into this iconic Spanish cultural tradition. I enjoyed sitting in the stands and absorbing the atmosphere and view. Loved learning about the lady Matador too.
Too bad there was nowhere mentioned that the arena itself was full of Christmas market and food truck. You think in the end I'm like a real one in the middle but didn't go
