Alaska Railroad Anchorage to Seward Round-Trip Lo stesso giorno di ritorno

Descrizione

Looks good but could be better with addition to other boat trips and other excellence activities
The Alaska railroad is a pleasant way to view the scenery without driving. Simple and worry free. The train is very comfortable, also.
This was the tail end of our trip and was a perfect relaxing ride to Seward. Saw several moose and the views are unmatched.
NCL, at the last minute, notified us that the ship was having engine problems and most of the post stops would be cut short. Some excursions would bee cut short or cancelled. All the port stops were cut by 30 minutes except Victoria, BC. Victoria, BC was to be sail in to the harbor but not permitted to go ashore. It turned out the stop was cancelled completely. To Bad So Sorry, here is 50 dollar ships credit. Now the cruise: Miss placed luggage the first day. Fixed in 5 hours. Missed a specialty dinner appointment. The Food at Cagney's was excellent also at La Cucina. Skip the seafood, Palomar, restaurant it was not exciting. Average fair average menu. Excursions: WOW the Behind the Scenes of the ship was awesome. Worth the time and money. Sitka: the culinary tour was good, not too much walking, good sampling of the city. Guide was great. Juneau: Mendenhall Glacier Awesome sight. Icy Strait Point: Take what strike your interest. all good. Ketchken: This was exciting. The walking culinary tour was great. Alas we did not stop in Victoria, BC. NCL deemed it unnecessary. Great Cruise overall. We might do it again after we hit all others on our bucket list.
The tour guides were great. Audrey was funny. All the staff was friendly. Will do again but to Fairbanks
The train was stuck just sitting in the middle of the way for 4 hours on the way there. A train from Anchrage to Whittier took 7 hours. And I have been waiting for an hour so far for the return. They wasted all my day waiting either in a train or for a train.
Great experience and great views on the way to Seward! My little family enjoyed the experience! My 12 year old even enjoyed it!
This was worth every penny. So much breathtaking scenery with excellent tour guides. I would definitely do this again.
The train from Anchorage to Seward to Anchorage was worth the time and money! The breathtaking scenery is just past your huge windows. The wildlife is iconic. Narration helped us understand the history of the railway and Alaska.
So much fun! My friend & I loved the ride. No watching for traffic, worrying about weather, or stopping for bathroom breaks & fuel. Great way to just relax & watch the scenery, while hearing a narrative about the areas. Thank you!
