BEST tour of our entire 3 week trip around the British Isles and Europe! Gerard is the definition of a "local tour guide". Being able to spend the day with someone who is from the area (generations of family) and treats you as part of the family was awesome! We were entertained (he is funny and energetic), we learned (he is very knowledgeable), we got great pictures (he knows the spots and the angles) and we were safe (he was a good driver and always kept an eye out for our safety). AND his "Mum" baked goodies for us to enjoy during the day!!!!

My husband and I went on a Game of Thrones private tour with Gerard through Black Taxi Tours, and it was an experience we will never forget. Opting for the private tour was worth it because we had Gerard's undivided attention throughout the whole tour. His knowledge of the area's history, coupled with his passion for Game of Thrones, made out tour exceptional. One of the best parts of the tour was not having to deal with the stress of the crowds. We had almost every GOT location to ourselves. Gerard also took us to one of his favorite fish and chip shops called the Hip Chip. The recommendation was spot on, and I loved the gravy - definitely a must try! We couldn't have been happier with our experience and we feel like we gained a friend! Highly recommended!
