Itinerario

Its like being transported to a mystical world. You see castles along the way and a few stops for photos. You arrive at the top of the world with a choice of walking down to the causeway (which we did) or there is a tram for a small cost. The walk is STUNNING. Wild blackberries grow along the side of a trail. Once you get to the Giants Causeway you really get a sense of the millions of years it took to create. Core memories are created. DO NOT MISS THIS.
Tour guide Amanda and driver John were a great pair. I hope you get them if you book this tour. You need to!
The picture for the excursion shows the rope bridge but you are not near that when you are dropped off. You have about an hour at the causeway which is just about enough time to walk down, or take the bus, and look around at the beautiful rocks and coastline.
Hello Angela Thank you for your review Crossing the bridge is not on the itinerary as all tour buses have been denied access to the site from 2022 by the National Trust. You had 1 hour and 30 mins at the Causeway Regards
Bad guide a lot a of talking about herself no interessant information. All nice prescribed villages were stoppen at far out from the these village. Ended up obligated at a hotel for lunch instead of the prescribed pups in village. Not worth.
Hello Henri Thank you for your feedback Sorry to hear you do not rate Amanda as a tour guide To say we are shocked to hear someone thought Amanda was a bad guide is an understatement. Amanda has worked with us for 12 years and has never received a review below 4 stars. Amanda recieved 13& 5 star reviews from the same tour on both tripadvisor and Google reviews, have a look at our previous review from the same tour. Sorry to hear you were disappointed about the lunch. At peak season we have to avail of many different places to eat in Ballycastle that can cater for groups depending on availability at the time. Ballycastle is one of the larger towns on the North coast with a population of 4,600 and its attraction is being small and quaint. Regards
Our tour was through Odyssey Tours. Amanda (Guide) and John (Driver) were outstanding. I would recommend Odyssey Tours for seeing the Giants Causeway. We had visited the Giants Causeway two years ago as an excursion through the cruise ship we were on. With Odyssey we saw so much more including a trip through the the part of Belfast with the wall. It was very moving. We appreciated seing this side of Belfast. Thank you.
We headed to Dunluce castle firat for a quick picture stop, then to Giants Causeway. We had a good amount of time there and then stopped in a cute little town for lunch and then another picture stop at a bridge, then drove through some pretty places including the Atrium forest area, the red arch, by 3 caves, and then a driving tour around the outskirts of central Belfast. Ours was a little quicker on some.of the stops because our cruise ship was leaving at 4:30. They got us back to the boat a little after 3pm. The tour guide was great and had a lot of good information and was entertaining.
Excellent trip . Pick up from port in a small coach waiting for us as we disembarked . Brilliant trip, driver full of information. Missed all the other caoches Easy to book direct and it was 1/3 of the cost of P and O indentical trip .
The drive for this, the views, amazing! Your guide was wonderful, I appreciated him. Wished we had a little more time for lunch and wandering is all.
Wonderful tour. Amanda(tour guide) & John (driver)were awesome. Amanda was very knowledgeable, knows the history of the area well and very entertaining. John played Irish music about a rooster! That was delightful. Giant causeway was awesome! Shows you God's wonder, beauty of creation! We drove through the beautiful Irish countryside. Lots of sheeps, cows grazing on the green pasture, green meadows & rolling hills. What an awesome site to behold! I just wish we were able to cross the Carrick- a- rig ? bridge. Just saw it from a distance. They said tour buses were no longer allowed to get close to the site. Belfast was ok. I felt sad when Amanda was telling us the history of political/religious divide, that still manifest itself in the city. Overall this a wonderful excursion. They were on time. There was plenty of time back to the ship. The tour bus was very comfortable with restroom on board. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. Money worth spent.
This tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to spend the day with. I highly recommend skipping the cruise ship excursion and booking this tour instead. We were picked up right at the dock and dropped back off on time after the tour. You will not regret booking your Giant’s Causeway tour with this company.
