Excellent experience from start to finish. Guides were friendly, knowledgeable and ensured we had everything we needed. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a lovely pool. We had time to explore a little of the town in Argentina in the evenings, our guide gave us lots of tips. Would highly recommend!
Glad you enjoyed Iguazu falls with us Laura! It was a pleasure helping you to discover our part of the world :)
We visited Brazil and Argentina for 3 weeks in April 2023. Both countries have different culture and travel expectations. Following are our impressions: Brazil- Nice Beaches in Rio De Janeiro- Copacabana and Ipenema. Must visit Rio attractions- Christo Redmer by Corevado Train, Sugarloaf Mountain, Botanical Garden, Selaron Steps, Marcana Stadium, Museu de Amanaha and Cathedral. Sao Paolo is more business oriented city with long commutes. Must see places are - Art Museum on Paulista Ave., Ibirapuera Park, Neo Quimica Soccer Stadium and Liberdade Japneses market. Uber is easily available and reasonably priced. Crime against tourists is a reality that is concerning. Do not wear Jewelry, carry large cash, flash your iPhone, video camera or watch in public. Just be careful. Learn basic Portuguese before your trip as English is not spoken or understood by many. Argentina- Buena Aires reminds us of Madrid, very European architecture, wide boulevards and cleaner. Must visit- Recoleta Cemetery, Teatro Colon, Puerto Madero, Cathedral, Metal Flower and Palermo, La Boca and Caminito neighborhoods. Use Argentinian Peso Cash by converting US Dollars at Western Union- you will save 50% on your expenses. Many Coffe and Ice Cream parlors. Uber is easily available and very reasonably priced. Use Bucquabus for day trip to Colonia, Uraguay if possibele. Hope this trip summary helps fellow travelers.
After pick up at the airport (love having a sign with my name on it!) we were taken immediately to our hotel. It was a perfectly adequate hotel with a pool, bar and breakfast included. Even had a restaurant for dinner. Not easy to get into town. We were picked up after lunch for the Brazilian side tour. Fantastic. Thank you Gabriella. Next day Ramon picked us up and along with 5 other couples we toured the Argentine side. Be prepared to get wet and walk a total of 7+ miles. Nothing planned 3rd day except a trip back to the airport. Be aware that the boat ride and jeep ride is not included. Fortunately we could add on last minute with our tour buddies. Also remember you will pay park entrance fees which are not that expensive. Bring cash. Goes quicker. This experience is definitely worth it. Falls are breathtaking.
Glad you have fun at the falls! we will add the boat as an optional for the next time :) Until next South American adventure!

First the tour itself was very good on the Argentina side. We couldn't see the Brazil side because as US citizens we had to request a visa at least 48 hours in advance which we were NOT told. We ended up doing some other minor tour of a few other sites in Iguazu which was fine. Alien did everything she could to make things better since our first day of the trip was pre-empted by a cancelled LATAM flight.
