2 - Escursione di un giorno sul Monte Toubkal dalle montagne dell'Atlante di Marrakech

Myself, my brother and his 16 year old son have just come to the end of our 3 night/4 days hike through the foothills/ villages of the atlas mountains and Mt Toubkal. Our accommodation was exceptional in all of the riads we stayed in and the food throughout was exceptional, very tasty and lots of it. Our cook for the trip was excellent preparing fresh salads and traditional Moroccan dishes. Our guide Zakaria was excellent , very calming and engaging through the trip. His knowledge of the area is second to none and gave us lots of little hints and tips to keep us going ( look out for the fresh cherries, delicious). I am planing on coming back myself to do the summit and will be asking for Zakaria again. They deserve the tips they receive . Thanks Zakaria , Brendan , Carl and Josh

We had a truly wonderful experience during our 3 night / 4 day tour in the Atlas Mountains. Our guide Zakaria was very knowledgeable and lots of fun. We had a mixture of people in our group from couples, to friends to solo travellers and it was good for all, with Zakaria getting us all playing games in the evenings to get to know each other. The scenery and views were varied and breathtaking; from peaks, to waterfalls to villages, we felt we saw a lot. The accommodation- although basic - exceeded expectations and were all in amazing locations, with lovely people. The food was great with lots of fresh fruit and veg and adaptions for dietary restrictions. We even had our own private picnic, whereby we were cooked a Berber omelet by the river, a truly unforgettable experience. As was the locally grown walnuts and cherry’s on our walks. We really enjoyed our time on the trek and with Zakaria and would definitely book again. Great value for money, and our favourite part of our 3 week trip.

Really enjoyed our trip, the guides in particular made it for us. The route, pace, accommodation, food, all of it was organised so well! They worked incredibly hard for us. They were up before us getting breakfast ready, would serve us lunch then would serve us dinner and clear away at the end of the day. Hardcore dudes.

This trip was incredible! Zakaria was a brilliant, knowledgable guide who not only lead us on our hike but assisted us with arranging the next step of our trip. Without him our experience of Morocco would not have been the same. I would completely recommend!

From making sure we had food and water on time to checking that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves, her effort and care did not go unnoticed. An exceptional hike with Yassine, who was an expert guide and great company all the way to the peak of Toubkal. Both him and Radouane were incredibly accommodating for our very tight timeline which meant coming directly from the airport to Imlil and beginning the hike immediately. Yassine brought deep knowledge of the mountain, an array of great stories and a lot of entertainment value to the trip. He genuinely improved all aspects of the trek. This was my second time climbing Toubkal after visiting in 2015 and overall, it’s an experience I’d recommend to anyone! A tough but achievable peak that comes with an incredible payoff at the end. If you’re planning on it, I strongly advise Yassine, Radouane and crew as your first option to guide you. Thanks again all

100% worth it! The way up was rather easy with breathtaking views of the High Atlas and traditional villages. We took a different path for the way down which was more abrupt but allowed us to see different view points and the remains of a crashed helicopter. Our guide Mohammed (Mansouri Trek) was nice and very agile on the trails, so much so that we even lost him on the way down at one point, he did wait for us until we caught up, however, thankfully! He was also eager to share his culture and language with us when we showed curiosity. Only down point is that the refuge dorms were extermely hot, and they give us thick winter blankets. I wasn’t able to get any sleep. We should have accepted Mohammed’s proposal to sleep on the rooftop as the stars were magnificent and the weather would have been perfect for it (around 10 degrees Celsius and almost no wind). Also we were also notified very last minute (the night before) of the equipment we would need and that we could rent some in Imlil village. But overall it was great and watching the sunrise form the top of the mountain was an unforgetable experience.

Picked up at my hotel, around 0830, driven from Marrakech to Imlil, which is a 90-minute drive, then met my guide, Mohammed. Shortly after, we began our trek up to Africa's second highest peak. The going is tough and rocky underfoot at some parts, but achievable. You will walk through miles of mountainous terrain with views deep down into the valleys, passing shops and cafés as you go. We stopped off at one and got a great lunch consisting of lentils, rice, salad, bread, and a delicious chicken and potato dish. Then you will walk to an alpine mountain refuge, where you will spend a brief night. The first days walk is roughly 5 hours, and the elevation of the refuge is approximately 3,200 metres. They will also serve you dinner and breakfast the next morning. On the second day, wake up/breakfast is at 0330am and set off for the peak at 0400am. It is around 2.5-3 hours to the summit. Be warned, it is VERY cold up there, and a thick fleece and a jacket, as well as warm gloves, are necessary! All in all, a great bucket list activity, which was made possible by the skilled guide Mohammed and his professional company. If you like fitness, nature, meeting new people, and a challenge, this is for you! Well done, Mohammed, Radouane, and your team!

I clmbed Mount Toubkal and it was a great experience. With all guided treks the guide makes or breaks it. Jamal was so good. Between his English and my French we communicated well and he really made the trip. Could not thank him more for making it a memorable experience.
