I went on a hike to Cameron Falls with a guide named Sai, and he was wonderful: warm, friendly, and very experienced. He treated all of us Yellowknife visitors like his own personal guests. I was nervous about coming here as a solo traveler, but he welcomed me and the rest of the group so kindly that I felt right at home. Beautiful scenery and good people. That's how I'll remember this trip.
Had a great tour! Leon did a great job of leading the hike and made sure everyone was safe and included. He had a lot of great information about the falls area and vegetation that we encountered. Lunch was ready when we got to the lodge and he and his team presented a good and filling lunch!

Beautiful falls. Bring water for the hike. Going to the cabin for lunch and a kayak paddle made it an over the top outing.

Highly recommend this tour and Destination NWT in general. We enjoyed a relaxed, easy hike to Cameron Falls, followed by a delicious barbecue lunch at the company lodge and time to go kayaking in Madeline Lake. Shout out to our fantastic guide, Leon, who is friendly, knowledgeable and made the day a really enjoyable experience.

My children and I enjoyed the tour of Cameron Falls with Destination NWT. Pros: Leon, the tour guide was a treasure trove of information, which made the tour very interesting and informative. We came away feeling like we got much more than just a tour of Cameron Falls. We travelled in a comfy red Jeep with great AC. After the falls we were treated to a thoughtfully sourced meal at the lodge. Cons: We would have appreciated a heads up pick up was running a bit late due to unforeseen circumstances. However the response to my call/text was very quick and it was smooth sailing from pick up to drop off! Cleanliness was lacking at the lodge and I am not sure that food handling and preparation was compliant with food safe practices. Hence 4 stars!
