Shadia was so excellent!!!! We absolutely loved our experience and can not recommend it more for anyone wanting a nature, cultural, historical but also FUN experience. It is a beautiful experience/getaway from being in the big city. Could not love it more ❤️
Luis Fe was an excellent guide, always making sure that the guests are enjoying themselves and explaining everything
We loved having you with us Antonio! We hope to see you on your next trip to Mexico City!
3 hour trip, where you get historical information about the area and an opportunity to try Pulque along the way. Arturo, our guide, and Roberto, our rowing captain were both great.
Arturo and Roberto will be pleased to see your review. Hope to have you with us again in your next trip to the city. Thanks Kerry!
The organizer was very helpful. He answered immediately when I called when I did not see the host at the designated meeting point. Once I found the group we had another 20 minutes before debarking (1430 trip left at 1500). The host did an amazing job making the experience fun and informative. I booked fairly last minute after already being in CMDX the week of Día de muertos and hearing about Xochimilco and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip. I will recommend this to anyone regardless of where they are from.
I really enjoyed giving the tour in the Trajinera, there was a very good Mood, the guide told us about the history of Xochimilco and the surrounding area. It is good that there are options to buy other services by boat, especially mariachis, 10/10.
Los Mariachis nunca fallan, siempre son buen ambiente, y más con un excelente grupo como el tuyo!
It was my first time visiting Xochimilco and the experience exceeded my expectations. My family and I had a lot of fun, made new friends, listened to Mariachi live and learned about the canals and culture. Our guide was always friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone who wants to visit this magical area and have an amazing time.
It was amazing, we had a great time and met about Xochimilco. The guide knew a lot about the place and made us very pleasant the walk. 100% recommended
Let's be honest. It's a booze cruise. The area is beautiful and generally peaceful (before several rounds of Mezcal/Tequila), but it's mostly just drinking on a boat. Most everyone also brought their own alcohol on top of what was offered. You aren't going to get a lot of information about the canals, the wildlife, horticulture, or history, which is a little sad considering it's a UNESCO site. If you are looking for that, there are sunrise kayak tours. In retrospect, I wish I'd done that. Also, if you have concern for animal welfare, do NOT visit the ajolotario/ajolote sanctuary - it tainted the entire experience for me. Having said all of that, the guides were really fun and friendly and the tamales were excellent. Also, bring cash if you want to hear the Mariachis - they're great!
Such a great tour with Maria! We were a little worried because it was a very rainy Monday, but us and the other group on the trip had a blast. Maria was informative and fun, and we enjoyed learning about the history of Xochimilco and having some great tequila. Would totally recommend!
An incredible experience, I recommend, I went with 0 expectations and came away with one of the best experiences I have ever had! I would definitely come back and I plan to recommend it to all my acquaintances☺️
