Spooks and Legends Haunted Tours est la visite préférée de Colonial Williamsburg depuis 2010. Ces visites uniques vous emmènent sur les sites les plus hantés, y compris la célèbre Peyton Randolph House, souvent appelée l'endroit le plus hanté de toute l'Amérique ! Cette visite est la seule en ville à inclure de vraies histoires de fantômes entièrement documentées ainsi que des histoires de procès et de tests de sorcières. Écoutez les détails de l'équipage de Barbe Noire et de leur disparition. Nous n'inventons jamais d'histoires. Toutes nos informations sont factuelles et véridiques. C'est le seul TOUR FANTÔMES, SORCIÈRES et PIRATES à Williamsburg! Venez rencontrer notre sorcière locale Grace Sherwood et M. Pirate et l'infâme Barbe Noire qui se présente à l'occasion. Notre visite est remplie d'histoires fantomatiques et M. Pirate ouvre son coffre au trésor à la fin pour que les enfants ramènent des trésors chez eux. C'est une soirée amusante pour tous les âges. Découvrez les nombreux fantômes de cette vieille ville coloniale que l'on voit encore aujourd'hui. Découvrez les pendaisons de l'équipage de Barbe Noire et ce qui est arrivé au crâne de Barbe Noire. Nos ancêtres ont-ils vraiment bu de son crâne? Tenez-vous là où Grace Sherwood, la sorcière la plus célèbre, est souvent vue lors de simulacres de procès dans le Capitole et entendez parler de son destin, finalement gracié par le gouverneur Tim Kean après des siècles d'être appelé la sorcière de Pungo. Découvrez Anne Bonny et Mary Reed (une femme se faisant passer pour Mark Reed) qui étaient à bord du navire de Calico Jack et se sont battues comme des hommes. Pour couronner le tout, rendez-vous au cimetière de Jones, où Ida Jones hante encore les tombes aujourd'hui, tard dans la nuit.

Lexington was very nice and informative on our walk! She was very animated when she tells her stories! I like her historical information aswell. I didn't see any ghosts but I never do!!

This tour was really fun! Our group came upon the tour last minute as it was waiting to begin. We booked and it was well well worth the $20! The tour guide Gracie made everyone take part in a fun way (not pushy) and we got a lot of steps in that’s for sure. We enjoyed it and we recommend it as a great way to learn a little history, laugh and meet people from all over.

Mike is a great guide. He’s very entertaining, friendly, and accommodating. He was enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable about Williamsburg history. It was a great combination of a haunted tour, combined with pirate tales, witch tales and ghosts. I loved walking around after dark. Will definitely recommend and will do this again next time we visit.

We really enjoyed Mike and his shared knowledge and personality. He was easy to hear and understand (I wear hearing aids and usually have a hard time hearing guides). It was a little cooler to do this in the evening, but harder to take pictures once the sun went down. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a guided tour.

Excellent walking tour with lots of interesting facts about the local residents from colonial times. Plenty of opportunities for ghost sightings too! Really enjoyed Lexi’s tour.
