Description
Il s'agit de la visite du triangle historique. Voyagez avec un local dans le temps et également par ordre chronologique. Nous passerons la première partie de notre journée dans les années 1600 et la seconde moitié dans les années 1700. C'est là que le pays a commencé, vous verrez et apprendrez l'histoire auprès d'un local. Nous commençons notre journée à Jamestown, début 1607, par une visite guidée. Notre pause déjeuner aura lieu ensuite au café qui appartient à un restaurant local où nous aurons un repas inclus qui peut être de style colonial si vous préférez. Après le déjeuner, nous voyageons dans les années 1700 avec une visite du champ de bataille et finissons au Musée de la guerre révolutionnaire.

Jamestown est l'endroit où les Anglais sont arrivés en 1607. Nous apprendrons l'histoire de 1600 dans la première partie de notre journée. Nous aurons une visite guidée de 1 heure et 1 heure de temps libre.
Le déjeuner aura lieu au café qui appartient à un restaurant familial local où nous pourrons prendre un repas de style colonial ou un repas plus traditionnel si vous le souhaitez. Des options diététiques sont disponibles
Le musée de la guerre de Yorktown explique la vie dans les années 1700 pendant la guerre d'indépendance. Nous aurons une visite partiellement guidée ainsi que du temps libre pour explorer par vous-même.
Yorktown Battlefield est l'endroit où, en 1781, l'armée de George Washington affrontera l'armée du général britannique Lord Cornwallis. Nous aurons une visite guidée d'une partie du champ de bataille avec quelques arrêts photo.

Excellent tour and knowledgeable guide. Will worth the time.
The confirmed trip was cancelled due to inconvenoence for the provider. When i have travelled across the country the tour it is not satisfactory although the refund was quickly approved. Care to refubd air fare and lodging (rhetorical)?
We had such an amazing, fun, interesting, history filled day! Matt did a great job of covering all the main points, keeping us entertained, driving us all over and providing us with a wonderful lunch! This tour is a MUST DO!
The tour guide/bus driver was knowledgeable and personable. He was very able and recommendable.
The bus tour is long however the day goes fast! You learn a lot and get a great idea of the area and the history. The lunch stop was good and you have some free time at the different locations to see what you want, use the facilities, gift shops etc. It is a nice blend of tour guide and explore time. The brand new bus is comfortable and gorgeous! The guide is extremely well educated and works hard to keep any kids/teens engaged in the day.
The tour was both a real learning experience as well as really enjoyable. This was due to our guide. It was a real pleasure spending the day with him and our group.
This was a very interesting experience getting to see about the colonial life and visiting all of the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept things very interesting and interactive for all of us. The colonial lunch was also a great experience. We loved every moment of our tour.
I was told by the ticket agent at Jamestown that trying to do Jamestown and Yorktown in one day is difficult. I found it was very doable because of the Viator package, transportation and lunch. This is a bargain. The guide was a local whose family has lived in the area for many generations.

This was the best way to visit Jamestown and Yorktown. Our tour guide, Matt, was the best. Not only did he have the best sense of humor, but he was also so knowledgeable and knew how to share it in a way that made it all interesting. The bus was very comfortable. It lowered to the ground to get on and off (which was very helpful for me since I am only 4'11"). There were outlets at the seats to charge your phone, too. We were given some free time at both locations. We never felt rushed and were given plenty of restroom breaks. The meal provided was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. You could choose something authentic or modern. We would definitely recommend this tour so you can enjoy your time here.
