Our both guides were phenomenal. They were both friendly, knowledgeable and fun. They took excellent care of the tour group. I especially want to say a special thank you to the driver who took us to the Withney Plantation- such a beautiful man. He was very kind and accommodation. I apologize, I am horrible with names. Thank you, thank you!!!! Excellent experience.
This was a lot of walking, basically totally outside. It was a painfully, excellent educational tour.
Edward kept us laughing and learning on the way to and back from the Whitney Plantation. The tour of the plantation included an audio guide that provided information about each outdoor exhibit. We learned a lot. It was vey hot and we very much appreciated the mist stations!
Go on a cool day. The heat was unbearable. The plantation is packed with valuable information about how life was for slaves.
The tour was both educational and enlightening. I highly recommend. Our driver Edward with Legendary tours was amazing. He provided us with lots of fun facts about the area on the way to and from the Plantation.
Me and my family really enjoyed the experience, very knowledgeable information and shopping at the store.
It was an amazing and informative experience. It started with our driver, Edward. He was on time and along the way gave us some history about New Orleans. Edward answered all our questions gave us an insight of the importance of the city, landscape and habitants. Cynthia, our tour guide, took us back to slavery times. Very insightful. Definitively a most!!
The transfer was excellent, the punctuality, and the tour was very interesting. The bad part; I booked for August 6th and on the night of the 5th they told us they were changing our tour day. I didn't agree to cancel … but it made me move the tour I already had. That's not fair 😩😩😩😩
Impactful plantation monument on slavery from the perspective of the enslaved. And Edward was a fantastic guide a s driver as well! Who shared so many gems about New Orleans and the surrounding areas on the way to the Whitney and returning. Crystal was a great guide on site as well, with a few of us having upgraded my tour rather than self guided. I would do this tour again and highly recommend it..
A unsugared version of a plantion tour. Preserved or rebuilt building brings the time period to life. I recommend a guided tour, though they offer a self guided tour.
