La journée parfaite à São Miguel, même s'il pleut, est d'explorer l'activité volcanique à Furnas : "caldeiras"; geysers; sources thermales. Ayez le temps de visiter et de vous baigner au parc Terra Nostra et aux sources chaudes. Le prix d'entrée n'est pas inclus, vous pouvez l'acheter à l'entrée du parc le jour même (sous réserve de disponibilité). Si vous préférez ne pas visiter le parc, vous pouvez passer plus de temps à explorer le village de Furnas et profiter de la chance de goûter et d’acheter des produits célèbres de l’île : Thé, « Bolo Lêvedo », épi de maïs vapeur, « Queijadas », et bien d’autres. Ou déjeuner. Bien que non inclus, vous pouvez vous arrêter pour déjeuner le typique "cozido", dans un restaurant local. Merci de nous le signaler pour réserver à l'avance. Explorez les pentes de la plantation de thé et l'usine de Gorreana Tea Plantation. Arrêt au stand en cours de route sur des points de vue clés comme Santa Iria et Pico do Ferro. Cette expérience dure environ 5h. S'il vous plaît noter que si vous arrêtez pour le déjeuner, nous pourrions avoir besoin de prendre moins de temps sur d'autres endroits.

Visitez la plantation et l'usine de thé, profitez d'un peu de temps pour marcher le long des pentes de thé, apprendre le processus et déguster notre thé unique.
Profitez de la meilleure vue sur la vallée de Furnas depuis ce point culminant.
Profitez de la vue panoramique sur les bords du lac Furnas.
Promenez-vous dans les cosses de cuisson volcaniques, où est cuisiné le célèbre plat « cozido ». Entrée non incluse (3 euros par personne).
Explorez et baignez-vous dans ce célèbre parc botanique magique. Le prix d'entrée n'est pas inclus, il peut être acheté au Parc (sous réserve de disponibilité). Si vous préférez ne pas visiter le Parc, vous pouvez passer plus de temps à explorer le village.
Visitez les geysers et les sources thermales du village de Furnas, et profitez de temps libre au village où vous pourrez acheter des produits locaux : Bolo Lêvedo, Corn Cob, Sweet tarts...
Entouré par le magnifique paysage botanique du ruisseau de la rivière, vous trouverez un étang d'eau de sources chaudes. On vous défie d'y plonger les pieds !
Arrêtez-vous en chemin pour profiter d'une belle vue à 360° sur la côte nord de l'île et les montagnes.

Nous prenons en charge à n'importe quel endroit sur Ponta Delgada (y compris l'aéroport et le port de croisière), Lagoa, Ribeira Grande et Furnas. D'autres endroits sont sujets à demande, vous pourriez avoir besoin de nous rencontrer à un point de rendez-vous, ou payer des frais supplémentaires. Veuillez vous renseigner. Heure de prise en charge: 9h30 (si vous avez besoin d'une heure de prise en charge différente, veuillez le conseiller) S'il vous plaît noter que nous conduisons un véhicule de 5 places type SUV, nous pouvons prendre jusqu'à 4 participants par véhicule si cela convient à votre groupe.

Carlos was very good. Enjoyed the sites and the information very Much. Lived going to the pot cooking sites, would have liked to get to try the food!

WOW! This was a fabulous experience. I chose a private solo tour as I was limited on time and had very specific things I wanted to do and see. Carlos is a local and knew so much about the island and history. With weather continually changing that day, he adjusted our locations so strategically so that we had the best views when the weather cleared. Took me to a smaller fabulous restaurant to try the local dish cooked in the thermal ground heat. Gave me plenty of alone time as I requested to explore on my own. Loved the thermal activity viewing, the lunch, the views from the top of the mountain, and the professionalism of Carlos. Highly recommend this tour and company! I will be back.
Carlos was our guide, and we were in awe of his expertise and knowledge. He was very friendly, easygoing, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what he was doing. Overall he was great company and also gave us space at times to explore. He was flexible with our itinerary a bit given that the hot springs were closed (due to natural reasons) and that my crew had already (accidentally) visited Lagoa do Fogo. We spent the day exploring the east end of Sao Miguel island with Rita and could not have been more pleased. Rita is highly professional and knowledgeable as well as warm and engaging, as if we were traveling with a friend. Rita shared local history, culture, and interesting anecdotes all along the way. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much that we booked a west end tour with her. Time on this tour and with Rita is time well-spent on the island.
My guide was a teacher/professor and was extremely knowledgeable about his country. He went above and beyond to make sure I saw everything possible even though the weather was terrible with rain, fog and wind.
Don’t hesitate book this tour! It’s one of the best we’ve ever had. Carlos, our guide was super knowledgeable, so obliging, polite, and spoke perfect English. He showed us one end of the island to the other. He was so generous with his knowledge and time, we were very impressed. The island is gorgeous, and he is very proud of his home. Don’t hesitate, this is one of the best tours we’ve ever taken Carlos, our guide, who was absolutely the greatest, spoke perfect English and knew every every single site to bring us He was courteous, effective, and so full of knowledge. We covered one end of the island to another, and I didn’t want it to end. So well worth the money.
Great communication and a wonderful private tour! Carlod was at the cruise dock at the time we had agreed on and we spent the day with im exploring this beautiful island. His English is perfect (he lived in the US) and he is very knowledgeable and loves the island. We were ahead of the buses from the cruise line and had a lot of time to look and explore. Yes, we would book with him again in a heart beat.
