Itinéraire
Sete cidades est le nom de la ville agile que nous visitons à l'intérieur de la cratère. L'itinéraire que nous empruntons est spécial car il regorge de fleurs, d'Hortensias et de gingembre beterfly, et de différents arbres. Nous faisons quelques arrêts comme lagoa do canário, King view. Cerrado das freiras, lagoa do Santiago et lagoa Verde. A côté de ces plages, nous pouvons écouter le chant des oiseaux, nous pouvons sentir la paix de l'esprit. On voit le grand décalage entre le vert de la nature et le bleu du ciel. A coup sûr la nature apportera au voyage bien des émotions.Impossible séjour indifférent.
Habituellement, je commençais la visite de Lagoa do Fogo par le sud. Sur le chemin, nous verrons les plus belles vues. Le Miradouro da Serra da Barrosa montre au voyage combien cette ligue est belle je ne peux pas tout décrire avec des mots. Dans ce parcours nous passons à côté de deux centrales géothermiques. L'eau tombe Salto do Cabrito, et le Monument Natural Caldeira Velha.
J'ai toujours dans mon chemin vers Furnas j'aime Montrez Ribeira Grande parce que ma ville natale est la grande ville sécante de l'île. Je m'arrête à Santa Iria et donne l'occasion au voyage de visiter la plantation de thé. Ensuite, nous allons voir Pico do Ferro où ils peuvent voir Furnas du haut, le Lage et le twon. Ce jumeau a 23 eaux différentes et le voyage a l'occasion d'essayer les mêmes. . Nous visitons le parc des fumerolles à Furnas.. Au cas où parfois les conditions météorologiques ne nous permettent pas de voir des habitants, je montre toujours quelque chose d'autre de beau. Les voyages gagnent toujours un beau moment.

rtur was an incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely friendly driver. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease with him. He shared many fascinating insights about the island, and since he is a local with family here, booking him also means supporting someone from the community, which made the experience even more special. He took his time with us and thoughtfully adjusted the plan according to the weather, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On top of that, he was always reachable by phone. There was even a moment when we got stuck in a town, and he came to pick us up without hesitation. We can highly recommend Artur and would absolutely book him again. We’d also like to mention that he will soon be offering an Airbnb, which we’re sure will be just as wonderful as the experience we had with him. We were two girls on a trip without a car and we always felt super save with Artur!

It was an awesome experience and enjoyed our day with Artur! Azores is beautiful place! The middle & west part of Sao Miguel is beautiful and so glad that we timed our visit during Hydrangeas blooming season ~ what a sight along the roads & farmland!

Artur was an absolute dream tour guide ! We booked an all day private tour hoping to see as much of the island as we could on our very short visit and Artur made it happen! Artur shared beautiful stories of his culture, history of the island and of course took us to the most breathtaking views! We were in awe! Not only was the island fully of beauty and wonder but Artur was also a shining star with his humor and welcoming ! Truly made us feel like part of the Azorean Family! We can’t wait to visit again and book another tour !

We found Artur through Viator from other reviews. He is super responsive and can customize a day trip or longer excursion for your group. We had a 3 year old with 6 adults so we needed to do child friendly activities. Artur handled it all getting us booked to try thermal baths and pre-arranged a fabulous “cozido” lunch at Restaurante Banhos Ferreos! It was AMAZING! Thank you Artur! We met Artur upon arrival in port and we decided to take a private, custom tour with Artur's help and suggestions. The tour was excellent and we had a lovely 4 1/2 hours being shown around this beautiful Island.

Arthur was a very professional, passionate individual both my husband and I truly enjoyed a whole day. He accomodated the tour based on what we wanted to see, eat, drink, and experiment😀 We were so lucky to contact him. We got only one day before heading to Flores Island. In case we rented a car ourselves and wondered around the island, we decided to ask a professional guide to guide us. It is hard to do everything when you just came in as a foreigner. We would highly recommend him to anyone. He is so knowledgeable. I told him that he should also consider becoming a college professor😀

Artur single handedly made our trip in Sao Miguel memorable. He was so down to earth, great at explaining all types of scenarios (history, geography, culture, food, etc) from all different perspectives. He was able to look at his own country through many different lenses and provide a more well rounded experience than we ever could have hoped for. He was punctual, flexible, always accommodating, funny and kind on top of it. He took guiding us to a whole new level, finding ways to relate to everybody (7 in the tour group) on our trip. At the end of our 9 day journey, Artur told us we always had family in Sao Miguel now, and we really feel like it! Couldn't imagine going on this adventure with a different guide! Ps he knows all the best photo spots!
