Départ du centre-ville, près de la gare centrale, et transfert vers le quartier de Waterland, à seulement 15 minutes au nord du centre d'Amsterdam. Sur des vélos confortables, vous pourrez admirer un paysage plat de ruisseaux, de maisons en bois et, bien sûr, de moulins à vent. Sous la conduite d'un guide expérimenté, vous traverserez des villages et des villes pittoresques, en pédalant le long des digues et des cours d'eau qui ont donné leur nom au district de Waterland. Sauvé de la mer par les Hollandais entreprenants, ce territoire est aussi chargé d'histoire que d'eau.

Point de départ de la visite et la partie la plus ancienne de la ville d'Amsterdam
La gare centrale, construite de 1881 à 1889 par P.J.H.Cuypers dans un style néo-gothique-Renaissance, avec de nombreuses sculptures décoratives.
Avec le ferry Buiksoterweg, traversez l'IJ jusqu'à la partie nord d'Amsterdam.
Route longeant le Noord-Hollandskanaal
Prenez une photo de ce moulin à vent historique typiquement hollandais.
Marais réhabilités. De nombreux lacs de la région de Waterland ont été asséchés par pompage.
Échappez à l'agitation du centre-ville pour découvrir un paysage de villages et de vaches. Apprenez comment les Néerlandais gèrent l'eau depuis des siècles.
Découvrez ce vieux village, dont le clocher a été peint par Rembrandt. Comprend une pause de 30 minutes (possibilité de déjeuner).

Trey was an excellent guide who took us through the this tour and made it fun, despite some light rain. Highly recommend!
I went on this bike tour with my husband and 20 year-old daughters and we all thought it was the highlight of our Amsterdam stay. The weather could not have been better! Our tour was led by Trey, who was wonderful in every way! He was so knowledgeable, kind, and fun. It was our best day in Amsterdam! I would recommend this tour to anyone and I would absolutely do it again.

Excellent bike tour, well worth doing, really enjoyed it. We booked the 3.5 hour countryside tour, it was a short notice decision but the weather was sunny and we thought it would be nice to get out of the city. Great decision. The bikes were in good condition, the route was well chosen, the bike lanes are wonderfully safe. We even had a coffee stop in a lovely cafe in a nearby town. Our guide Willem was excellent. Lots of interesting facts about the waterways, and a nice friendly guy. Thanks.

Perfectly paced bike ride which was a welcome relief to the hustle of Amsterdam city. Willem was knowledgeable and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this for a change of pace.

Great trip. It was amazing to cycle round the villages; visit a farm shop for ice-creams; cross the river by ferry like the local Amsterdammers. Bikes were in great condition. Have booked another tour for our up-coming return visit to the city.

Great ride! You get a good taste of the less populated side of the area. Good stops for lunch, and a walk around a small town. Nice workout bonus too.

This was our second bike tour with Yellow Bikes in Amsterdam. We went on the 6 hour tour across the ferry into the countryside of Northern Amsterdam. It was easy cycling, made even more so by the electric bikes. David was our guide and was very knowledgeable. It was interesting to see the countryside and local villages. The living village where we stopped for lunch, was very quaint and it was great to see windmills for which of course The Netherlands is famous. I loved the whole day out and would be happy to go again.

Our guide was Willem and he was outstanding. He took us through the countryside and gave us such a great experience. We stopped at this little cafe and had the most wonderful coffee. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Willem
