It was a very fun experience. The route was beautiful, and the guide is very friendly and knows a lot about plants.
This is an absolute gem of an experience. Daniel is an amazing guide, especially for travelers with limited Spanish- he explains everything in depth, with patience, and his English is excellent. He goes out of his way to make the adventure pleasant for everybody on his tour, and you will truly feel like a local rather than a tourist. I had the pleasure of taking a trip with him to the tree of Tule and it was so much fun, not to mention an informative dive into one of Mexico's deepest cultures. It was such a fantastic time that I accompanied him the next day to his hometown, Etla, and had the pleasure of touring his family's farm and watching an award-winning cheesemaker craft a very special Oaxacan cheese. I really hope that he is able to expand his tours to include even more cultural experiences that would bring knowledge and adventure to any traveler's Oaxacan voyage. If you're coming to visit, please consider Daniel first- he truly enjoys what he does, and you will too. Next time I visit I will definitely be looking forward to more adventures with his guidance. -Max
This bike experience was fabulous. Daniel, our guide, was very knowledgeable and so kind and patient with my husband and I and our friends. Not only was seeing the Tule tree truly amazing but the visit to the town and the Centro Gastronomico was so fun. On the way back, my friend felt light headed and Daniel went to get more water and Gatorade for her. He then called a taxi for her to take her back. Truly above and beyond. These are the kinds of experiences that are unforgettable and are made by people being both professional and caring. We cannot recommend this tour and Daniel's tour business enough!
I'm not a strong bicyclist and was intimidated by riding a mountain bike at first but I felt very welcome and safe under our guide's leadership. After we got through the city and reached the bike path, my confidence increased and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. It was a very hot day but there were lots of trees lining the path which made it more comfortable. The tree was amazing and the local market was a nice change of pace from the ones in the city, less hectic and more relaxed feeling. I'm really thankful for the experience!
My (adult) daughter and I did this round trip ride right after a long overnight plane flight from the US and it was the most excellent start to our visit to OurTime together in Oaxaca. Our ride guides were wonderful, one leading us smoothly and safety through both busy city intersections and around occasional hazards on the bike path while the other kept largely behind us to make sure we didn’t drop off the back! The ride was invigorating and informative and I do believe that being on a bike is by far the best way to meet a new city.
Great tour! Was nice to bike around and get out of the city. Also nice breakfast spot added in. Would definitely recommend!
What a great morning with Daniel! The perfect way to experience a slightly different side of Oaxaca and Daniel is the best guide - super knowledgeable and a joy to hang out with! The tree and town are so beautiful and worth visiting and the cycle is a nice gentle pace on a bike path, great to build up an appetite for the delicious local market! Thanks again
Bike path harder and bumpy, holes than expected. Wear padded gloves if you do this. Traffic before getting to bike path was a bit hairy. Tule tree was amazing. Not sure if I would recommend this ride, plus was overpriced.
Daniel the guide is very friendly; I still felt some pressure as out of the group of 4 participants we were; two were very experienced and the third defended very well; so I always went to the last and sometimes delayed a little; if you make several stops along the way and all the time you go to the attention of all the people; still, I felt that the tour was for at least intermediate level. I had plenty of time to rest and recuperate during the breakfast stay and enjoy the tour quite a lot; the cycle path is beautiful and very wooded; I recommend them.
It was so fun!! Our tour guide Daniel was amazing at what he did! He was informative and took us to many cool spots! I recommend his business 1000%!! He speaks both Spanish and English!
