Nous utilisons des projecteurs portables pour faire sortir les images sanglantes de la Nouvelle-Orléans des archives et les diffuser dans les rues pour votre visite. Les visites se font beau temps, mauvais temps. Les voyageurs en état d'ébriété ne seront pas autorisés.

AVOID!!!! I thought I had booked a ghost tour, but instead got an hour and a half of leftist political jargon. If I wanted to attend an ANTIFA rally, I could have done that for free.
Hello again Liz, we couldn't help notice you're trying to review-bomb us by ranting on TripAdvisor now in addition to the sentiments you already posted on Viator. Just like your previous comments, these have no basis in fact and have already been refuted by the numerous other guests in the same group with you Saturday night who already posted glowing 5-star reviews, several before you even posted your first one, about your guide and how well he delivered exactly what we advertise. The only thing you "got" on this tour was the unbiased (read: un-whitewashed) truth about New Orleans' chilling and often problematic past, and the way you've pointed out exactly which of your feathers were ruffled by that says a lot more about you than it does about our company and your guide (his name was Doug, by the way). In fact, while we only suspected this about you based on your previous review, the way you've worded this one makes it clear what your real issue was, and unfortunately will only serve to drive away the people like you who need to hear these perspectives the most.

The most terrifying part of the experience was at the end. The guide did not end the tour where it began or at the planned end point. He ended it on a side street which did not have any businesses or bars. The group dispersed quickly and within minutes my friend and I found ourselves alone at night in an unfamiliar city. When my friend tried to get an Uber they wanted us to go to a main road to meet them. It was an awful experience and negatively impacted the rest of our trip.
Hi Karie, we're sorry to hear you were uneasy after the tour, and while we understand it can be unsettling to be in an unfamiliar place at night, you concerns about your safety there are unwarranted. We always end the tour at the same location we provide with your booking details, near the intersection of Ursulines Ave and Royal St, neither of which are side streets, and we would never put our guests, or guides, in danger. That portion of the French Quarter is also much safer than others such as the heart of Bourbon St. Our guides are also happy to direct to guests towards their next destination. Any visitor to New Orleans should note that the only time Ubers won't drive into the French Quarter is when it's as crowded with foot traffic, as it was on the night you were with us last week.
Doug (or the weird guy in a kilt 😆) was amazing. He has a lovely personality you can't help but be enamored by! He keeps it real and lively at the same time. I have always loved NOLA and have been facinated by the history and lore. I've been on several tours throughout my years. This one was the best by far. You can tell he has truly done his research on, not just the tour areas, but ALL of NOLA. Many tours sensationalize the basic half "truths" or only speak on a surface level knowledge. With this tour, you'll get the truth after what headlines printed decades ago. 10/10 made respect for the weird guy in a kilt. ♡
