Lorenzo was an amazing tour guide who provided a knowledgeable and lively tour of Lecce. His art history background enabled Lorenzo to provide us with details about the remarkable history of Lecce. We also stopped for a Italian iced coffee and patry break compliments of Lorenzo. This was one of our best tours in 2 weeks in Italian.
Exploring the baroque beauty of Lecce is even better with a great guide. We loved our historic walking tour with Lorenzo—his deep knowledge of history and art, quick responses when booking, and wonderful sense of humour made the experience both engaging and fun. Over two hours, he brought Lecce’s symbol-rich baroque architecture to life, helping us see the city with new eyes. If you’re visiting Lecce, a walking tour with Lorenzo is a fantastic way to understand the stories behind this beautiful city.
Lorenzo was fantastic! We learned so much about Lecce and European history. Highly recommend this tour at the beginning of a visit.
Lorenzo was ver attentive and he guided even before we got to our actual tour.
We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Lorenzo. He is passionate and very knowledgeable about his home city of Lecce. His English is fantastic and his educational background in art and history made for a rich tour experience. He didn’t walk us all around from place to place, rather he focused on a few key sites and gave us a depth of information. His tour was more expensive than other options, but we were happy with the value we received.
Grazie mille! You're so kind, thank you really for the compliments and for joining the tour! Hugs from Lecce, Lorenzo
Lorenzo was a fantastic guide and brought Lecce and its beautiful style of baroque architecture to life. He was born here and his love of his home town shines through his excellent descriptions of each church and palace. He's such a warm and kind person, it was a pleasure to spend time with him. He showed me small gems I would have otherwise missed and shared many interesting stories and legends as well. Without Lorenzo I wouldn't have understood and enjoyed this lovely city nearly as much - If you have the opportunity to take a tour with Lorenzo do not hesitate, you'll be so glad that you did.
You never know when you book a guide as to whether or not the experience will be a good one. Our guide, Lorenzo, was beyond a good one. He was knowledgeable, personable, and gracious. He turned two hours into a treasured memory.
Lorenzo was not just informative but also warm and approachable, making the tour highly enjoyable. His insights into Lecce's history and culture left us with a profound appreciation for this beautiful city. I wholeheartedly rate this tour 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Lecce!
Lorenzo was fantastic! Knowledgeable, courteous and amiable. The tour was very worth it (and I’m not really a “tour” person)… had we not gone with Lorenzo, we wouldn’t have understood any of the rich history of Lecce. I highly recommend you spend a couple hours with Lorenzo!
We really enjoyed the tour of Lecce led by Lorenzo. He was engaging, informative and entertaining. We would not have appreciated the history and significance of the many wonderful buildings in the city without his guidance. And the coffee and pastry were delicious. Highly recommended.
