Nous admirerons la double façade de cette église qui, de son apparition au Moyen Âge jusqu'à sa transformation à l'époque baroque, traverse les siècles.
Bref arrêt pour admirer un monument qui, à travers ses bas-reliefs, raconte l'histoire de longs conflits qui ont influencé la culture et l'économie locales pendant des siècles.
Nous découvrirons l'entrée monumentale de la ville, Porta Napoli, "l'Arc de Triomphe de la ville".
Le chef-d'œuvre du baroque de Lecce par excellence, une étape incontournable pour admirer la plus fascinante des églises du Salento. L’impact visuel est certainement impressionnant et époustouflant. En scrutant la façade enchanteresse, avec l'aide du guide, nous découvrirons des visages et d'étranges animaux gravés sur la pierre de Lecce.
La colonne de Sant'Oronzo, haute d'environ 29 mètres, est située sur la Piazza Sant'Oronzo à Lecce. Au sommet, elle abrite la statue du saint patron créée à Venise en 1739.
L'amphithéâtre romain de Lecce est un monument romain situé sur la place centrale de Sant'Oronzo. Il remonte à l'âge d'Auguste.
L'église de Santa Chiara est située dans le centre historique de Lecce, sur la Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.

We toured old Town Lecce by rickshaw which was terrific. We were fortunate enough to have. Clemence as our guide who was the most knowledgeable friendliest and cutest guy they have.. If you want to be the best of old Town Lecce book this tour but be sure to ask for Clemence
