This is exactly what we wanted from our first trip to Amsterdam. Chris is well knowledgeable about the history and ways around the city. We went to areas our cruise excursions didn’t go. We tried local food and had time for some shopping. I’d recommend this method if you do mind walking and going off the beaten path.
If you are looking for an authentic way to see the city, a small individual tour is absolutely the way to go. We had the pleasure of exploring with Kaleigh, and she was nothing short of fabulous! We covered an impressive amount of Amsterdam’s history and culture, but the highlight for us was how she integrated our love for street art into the journey. Kaleigh’s knowledge is deep, her energy is infectious, and she showed us sides of the city we never would have found on our own. Thank you, Kaleigh, for such a memorable day! Highly recommended.
Thank you, Darren! We will send your kind words to Kaleigh.
Small group of 12 for a walking tour. Learned lots of Amsterdam history and saw lots of great architecture. Don’t actually go into any sites during the tour. One stop for coffee and break during the three hours. Guide will adjust walk based on participants.
Thank you, very much, for your review! It means a lot to us.
Absolutely wonderful. A ton of information about Amsterdam and Europe. Gave us choices of where to go. Carolina knew everything about everything and was always interesting. Just the two of us and Carolina kept moving in the rain and cold.
Thanks, Robert! We also enjoy Carolina's stories about Amsterdam's City Centre.
Amazing guide Jeroen was beyond brilliant. Our four kids (ages 10-16) and my husband and me found the tour to be fascinating. We saw all of the hilights and learned soooo much in our three hour tour. Jeroen even brought along laminated maps and photos to bring even more life to his stories. We were captivated the whole time. THANK YOU! Hilight of our trip!!
Thank you Rochelle for your review. Jeroen indeed has a lot of stories for visitors of all ages.
It was a private walking tour with just my husband and I and we loved it. Our guide Kaleigh was very knowledgable about the city's facts. It was great she was born in the U.S. and could understand the language as other guides its hard when English is not their first language and speak with heavy accent. We would highly recommended taking this tour! It was too bad the Ann Frank house was closed on that day because it was a Jewish holiday but more reason to return.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Kaleigh and our other wonderful guides are always here to show you around and Anne Frank is among of our hits on Amsterdam Experiences.
Chris is very knowledgeable, and friendly. His love of Amsterdam really shines through. We like photography and Chris took us to THE BEST spots for photography during a day tour and a separate evening tour. He even let us borrow his tripod for some evening long exposure photography. I highly recommend Chris for your tours of Amsterdam!
Thank you for choosing us! Chris is very multitalented indeed. Please, join our tours about Anna Frank or Red Lights district.
Simon met up with us in our hotel, where we started our tour. Throughout the tour, he showed us to many hot spots around Amsterdam and more notably, he gave interesting facts regarding said spots. He was enthusiastic throughout the tour, and thanks to him, we were able to much better understand and appreciate life in Amsterdam in the span of 3 hours. It was a fun walk around Amsterdam, and I definitely recommend everyone to try out this tour, especially for those who plan to stay in Amsterdam for a day or two :)
Thank you so much! We also enjoy Simon's enthusiasm and we appreciate his knowledge. Please, enjoy our Anna Frank tour and much more.
Learning about the city's history (Amsterdam) and visiting Anne Frank's house/museum. We had a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable
Thank you, Jane! You are always welcome to our Bike tour and Canal cruise.
Just wanted to let you know that Chris gave us a fantastic tour through Amsterdam. All my European colleagues loved it. Responses were: 1. Very knowledgeable 2. His love for Amsterdam and his joy to inform other people, was heartfelt. 3. Great story teller 4. Good listening to the wishes of the group and taking that on in the tour. It good not have been better. Thank you and thank Chris 😊
Oh wow, that is a wonderful review. Thanks so much, Chris is one of our best guides, we hope to see you again if you or your colleagues are coming back.
