La visite commence dans le magnifique jardin baroque du palais Mirabell.
Ensuite, nous jetons un coup d'œil à la maison de Mozart.
Nous atteignons la vieille ville par la rivière Salzach. Des passages de maisons médiévales mènent à Getreidegasse avec ses enseignes traditionnelles de guilde et ses nombreux magasins. Là, nous nous arrêtons devant la maison natale de Mozart.
Juste à côté, une cour à arcades mène au Grünmarkt et à la Kollegienkirche, la première église construite à l'époque baroque autrichienne.
Après un coup d'œil à l'hôtel de ville, nous arrivons à l'Alter Markt avec le café préféré de Mozart, les boutiques de balles de Mozart et les boutiques de luxe.
La ville dite princière commence juste à côté. Sur la Residenzplatz, nous voyons l'ancienne et la nouvelle Residenz et au centre la plus grande fontaine baroque en dehors de l'Italie.
Après un petit détour par la Mozartplatz, nous nous tenons devant la monumentale cathédrale de Salzbourg, la plus grande et la plus ancienne église baroque au nord des Alpes.
La visite se termine à Kapitelplatz. Il y a l'abbaye Saint-Pierre, le plus ancien monastère du monde germanophone et le berceau du christianisme en Autriche. Le point culminant absolu ici est la vue sur la forteresse de Hohensalzburg, le symbole de Salzbourg.

Florian was very knowledgeable and personable. He included all the locations used in the Sound of Music with additional background information regarding the movie especially important to my wife in addition to providing excellent historical information about the city..
An excellent overview of the city. Very knowledgeable guide. Covered a lot on the two hours but in a relaxed way.
We had a fabulous tour. Florian is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He kept us laughing and made the history of Salzburg very enjoyable. Florian showed us the Sound of Music filming locations and we took many photos.he showed us the birthplace and residence of Mozart and was very entertaining when you looked around at all the souvenirs. He explained the history of the churches, fortress and city buildings. When something was under renovation, Florian had photos. A well thought out, thorough tour that was also entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour.
