Visitez Kehlsteinhaus, plus connu sous le nom du Nid d'aigle, au cours d'une excursion d'une demi-journée au départ de Salzbourg. Traversez les paysages spectaculaires de la vallée du Königsee et les Alpes bavaroises jusqu'à Obersalzberg, puis continuez jusqu'au Nid d'aigle perché au sommet d'une falaise en empruntant une navette et un ascenseur. Après avoir contourné la foule grâce à votre billet coupe-file, visitez l'ancienne retraite d'Hitler en compagnie d'un guide expérimenté et imprégnez-vous des panoramas sur les Alpes avant de repartir vers Salzbourg.

Commencez votre visite en passant par le centre-ville de Salzbourg avec son magnifique paysage urbain baroque
Avant de traverser la frontière allemande, passez par le chakra du cœur de l'Europe - Untersberg, ce monument fascinant envoûtant depuis des siècles avec sa puissance mythique, Hitler a même choisi de construire son quartier général à l'Obersalzberg, afin de pouvoir voir l'Untersberg tous les jours.
Arrivée au hameau à flanc de montagne d'Obersalzberg. Serpentez sur la route panoramique lors d'un bref trajet en navette, profitez d'une vue imprenable sur les spectaculaires chaînes de montagnes alpines et le bleu profond du lac Kings. Ensuite, débarquez et entrez dans un ascenseur en laiton datant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, qui transportait autrefois les invités d'Hitler au Nid d'Aigle. Au sommet, contournez la foule avec un billet d'accès direct et entrez dans le complexe. Construit pour le 50e anniversaire d'Hitler, promenez-vous sur le site avec votre guide et découvrez l'histoire qui se cache derrière au fur et à mesure. Imprégnez-vous des vues incroyables depuis un perchoir à quelque 1 524 mètres au-dessus du sol.
Ensuite, visitez la charmante ville alpine de Berchtesgaden. Explorez indépendamment ce centre historique pittoresque et assurez-vous d'essayer quelques spécialités locales pendant votre séjour. Vous passerez également par le Schloss Berchtesgaden.

Fascinating history combined with stunning views. Our guide was very informative. The tour was very well managed and efficient. We were fortunate to catch a perfect weather day but it would be well worth it on an overcast day.
This was a compact tour up to Eagle’s Nest, with a very knowledgeable guide (Johannes), who made sure I (as a disabled person) was fine at every point. The tour was as advertised and I have no complaints, but I wish there was one that was slightly longer to take in the museum. We stopped for lunch on the way back; the apple strudel was delicious!

Mitch was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, humorous. The Little Dragon is a very good driver. The Eagle's Nest has a dark past but is now an excellent spot to look out at the Bavarian Alps, small villages & a lake. Berchtesgaden is a lovely place to stop for lunch.

We did the sound of music tour with Panorama the day before, and it was so well organised we were so glad to see we were booked with them again for the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden. We had Mitch as our guide today (same guide as sound of music tour) and we were delighted as he was a font of knowledge and an excellent guide. He really made us laugh and smile so many times over the 2 tours. Little Dragon was our driver and he kept us all safe on those very bendy roads. Eagles Nest was amazing. It was a bucket list visit for my husband who is a big follower of anything WW2 related. We had a very clear day, with little clouds. It was beautiful up there. Very well run. I would have liked more time at the bottom to visit the museum and same for our stop to Berchtesgaden, but this was a tour and we knew in advance of agenda and timings, so not a complaint. If anything, it has made us want to return to Salzburg again to explore more. Highly recommend this tour. What an amazing few days we have had.

It is exciting to go see eagles nest and our guide was great. But the value was poor. After an hour on buses or more we walked through 3 toons and the main objective was to walk to the top of a little hill and see the views. We spent time reading all the photo displays and history and then barely had time to walk up and see the surroundings. Then the bus takes you to a small Austrian village to basically burn time while you look for something to do: shopping (?) or coffee. This was a waste of time in order to make the tour seem worth the money and length of time. Really disappointed and would never have gone if we had known. We haven’t ever had a disappointing tour with Viator or felt ripped off but this one did it.
A fun and informative tour with history coming alive - Jose’s experience and captivating presentation really helped our tour understand the role Berchtesgaden and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest played during WWII. A nice mix of learning, walking through the Eagle’s Nest, and sharing lunch afterwards.
