La gare centrale d'Amsterdam est notre point de rendez-vous. Ce bâtiment est célèbre pour son superbe environnement intérieur, extérieur et historique ! Là, nous aimerions en dire plus sur l'histoire du Jordaan - notre destination ;
Anneau des canaux d'Amsterdam Célèbre anneau de canaux - jetons un coup d'œil aux magnifiques maisons de marchands construites au 17ème siècle et aux confortables péniches ! Avec vous, nous en découvrirons davantage sur la colonisation néerlandaise, l'histoire navale des Pays-Bas et des personnages importants du passé ! En flânant le long des canaux, nous trouverons la maison la plus étroite, la maison des Antilles néerlandaises, puis nous nous perdrons dans les cours douillettes ! Nous découvrirons de l'art local, visiterons le bar "brown", et même dégusterons la meilleure tarte aux pommes très appréciée par Bill Clinton !
De Poezenboot est le seul refuge flottant pour chats au monde. Ici, nous vous parlerons de l'attitude des Néerlandais à l'égard des animaux de compagnie et partagerons quelques faits sur Amsterdam en tant que ville respectueuse de la faune.
Église luthérienne, Noorderkerk et Westerkerk - regardons de plus près ces églises majestueuses, où vous pourrez en apprendre davantage sur la guerre de quatre-vingts ans, ses conséquences et l'attitude moderne envers la religion ;
Noordermarkt - place du marché animée au cœur du quartier du Jordaan ! Nous y découvrirons davantage l'histoire locale, les traditions, les émeutes et autres événements importants qui ont rendu cette région si différente de toutes les autres ! La place devient particulièrement animée le samedi lorsque le marché fermier y prend place. Le meilleur endroit pour déguster des spécialités hollandaises, comme le hareng, les huîtres ou le fromage !
Jordaan est également connu comme l’un des quartiers les plus créatifs d’Amsterdam. C'est pourquoi nous aimerions vous présenter quelques galeries d'art locales, des magasins de design et un hôtel labyrinthe insolite qui vous épateront !
Maison Westerkerk et Anna Frank - où nous aimerions parler de la diaspora juive et de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Important! Cette visite n'inclut pas la visite du musée Anna Frank.

Maria was spectacular, shes very knowledgable about the city. We walked, talked, got some coffee and explored the JORDAAN area. She knows her architecture, the differing neighborhoods and the people who live there. She was such a delight in every way. I look forward to more tours with her in the future. I highly recommend her

We wanted to get a tour of Jordaan during a market day so this was a perfect tour for us. Our lovely guide Maria was flexible in adjusting to our family of 4 and also gave us time to explore the market on our own and the opportunity to enjoy some local treats. Nice and relaxing tour - we did it as a private option. Maria was flexible and accommodated our request for a meeting spot closer to our hotel. She was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned quite a bit about the Dutch culture in general. Overall I would definitely recommend this tour with Maria if you are in Amsterdam.

It was one of more than 10 tours for discovering beautiful Netherlands with Snurk.Travel and professional guide Anastasia Afonina. I would say- somehow the helped me to find a second home: when the Ukrainian war started - I didn’t think too much where to relocate my family as aa”safe harbour” - i was already in love with Netherlands. We did the tour with Sasha and it was really amazing He took us through different parts of the city, along the canals, and could give many interesting insights, both on new developments in the city, and its rich history. During the tour, we also had time to sit down at a small cafè and enjoy a typical Dutch apple pie. Sasha could answer all of our questions, would offer us different routes, depending on where we wanted to finish the tour, and was just very knowledgeable about the whole city. The tour was also really interactive, less of a presentation and more of just a conversation between us, which we also really enjoyed. We would really recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Amsterdam in a personal setting.
