L'agence de voyage "Land of Noah" organise un voyage à la perle de l'architecture arménienne médiévale - le monastère de Tatev, construit aux IXe-XIIIe siècles. Grâce à la construction des ailes de Tatev, le plus long téléphérique du monde (5,7 km), le complexe est devenu l'un des endroits les plus visités d'Arménie. Sur le chemin du monastère, vous aurez l'occasion de déguster du vin arménien dans la cave Areni. Notre prochaine destination sera Khndzoresk. Vous verrez que de nombreuses grottes ont été creusées par l'homme. Vous y trouverez les ruines d'un village, une belle église ancienne, des pierres tombales très anciennes et le pont tournant. Il a été construit en 2012 et mesure 160 mètres de long, 1,5 mètre de large et s'élève à 36 mètres au-dessus du sol. Le pont relie les deux rives du village. Admirez la vue splendide sur les gorges depuis le pont.

Voici un grand nombre de grottes, bien que la plupart d'entre elles soient plutôt petites. Vous verrez que beaucoup de grottes ont été creusées par l'homme.
Le pont tournant, construit en 2012, a une longueur de 160 mètres, une largeur de 1,5 mètre et une hauteur de 36 mètres.
Vous aurez l’occasion de goûter le vin arménien dans la cave Areni.

As for Ms.Lilit, she proved to be the most acomplished and amazing guide: not only does she have a great expertise in the history, geography, architecture and landscapes of Armenia but she also communicates it in a very engaging way. Our private guide as Arman, an energetic and thoroughly knowledgeable young man. We felt safe with Asen, our driver, as he navigated the mountain roads and occasional traffic. We had perfectly clear and sunny weather for the dramatic Wings of Tatev cable car ride - we have been on many before and this was one of the best. The Monastery was in a gorgeous setting and very historic. Arman, at our request, took us to a ocal kebab (BBQ) restaurant where we had the emost delicous lunch prepared by locals in a town close to the ropeway. The Khndzoresk cave town was fascinating and scenic and was accessible by a suspension bridge over a deep gorge - not at all scary- even though it is called the swinging bridge. Arman found a local 4x4l driver to take us up and down the hill to the bridge as my husband’s knee was not up to the 700 steps down and back. On the way back, we tasted a large variety of wines at the Areni Winery- a nice break in the long drive, If you wish to see tehe cave in Areni in which the oldest wine in the world was found, ask to see that in the morning to make sure that it will be open., A long but fun and interesting day! Highly recommended.
