Our driver was very knowledgeable and told us all about the history of the area. The only thing we didn't like about the experience had nothing to do with the driver. We just felt like Florence was so incredibly busy and crowded. We weren't ready for that compared to the rest of our experiences throughout the week.
Super trip, Massimo and Allesandro picked us up at port and took us to leaning tower of Pisa and to Florence. Safe and perfect driving in modern Mercedes mini vans. A lot of information and guiding from the drivers and everyone where superhappy with the trip!! Many thanks to Max, Massimo and Allesandro!!
Thank you so much for this awesome review! I’m thrilled to hear you loved everything we planned for your private tour from Livorno. But seriously, only one day in Tuscany? That's just a teaser! You have to come back because one day is never enough to soak in all the beauty of our land. Promise me you’ll return, okay? Thanks again and take care! Max
Laura was an excellent tour guide and driver too. She knew Florence and Pisa well informative of Medici period and the great artist from the region and not just Michael Angelo
We were a party of 8 (4 couples) and were met timely at the port by our tour guide Aldo. Aldo was excellent in providing information throughout our day about our stops in Pisa and Florence. He was also fun and an excellent driver through the Italian traffic. He interjected stories as well as historical information, which made it even more enjoyable. We had plenty of time on our own to explore the highlights of each site and Aldo also brought us to a couple of areas in Florence that were lovely (a park and exclusive area with mansions). Overall, our experience with Tuscany in Tour was excellent and we had an awesome day visiting Pisa and Florence. Both Massimo and Aldo were great with the arrangements and the tour itself. We highly recommend Tuscany in Tour over the overcrowded tours through the cruise ship.

6 couples off a cruise ship. Massimo was fantastic. I am a very experienced user of private guides. Massimo was on time, logistically perfect. great vehicle. Knew his way around Florence extremely well. Very fun and interesting guy. Can't wait to come back for a longer tour and use his services over multiple days. A real winner!
Florence and Pisa are a must see. We came from the port of Livorno so the drive to Pisa and Florence took many hours away from our tour. Because of the cost of this tour without a professional guide was very disappointing. The driver was as stated, a driver. He gave us little history. Much quiet time during the drive. He did a good job driving us around but we all wanted more information. We also had no time to go into the museums or see the church. Did not have time to see David. No ones fault, but the crowds were large and long lines and HOT. It was a Saturday so that made matters worst. Over-all, the tour was ok but not recommended if you have several days to spend in this area. I would only use this tour if coming from the port but than, it leaves you wanting more.
Thank you for your review, and we're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour! We want to clarify that our tours are conducted with an English-speaking driver who provides essential insights into the city's history, culture, and practical information about attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our website explicitly states that hiring a professional tour guide is possible at an additional cost, but we did not receive such a request from you. Furthermore, our tour itinerary does not include guided tours inside museums or churches, as mentioned previously. Therefore, we're surprised by your complaint in this regard. Regarding the comment about "much quiet time during the drive," our driver indicated that you were sleeping during the journey to and from the port. Naturally, in such circumstances, our driver would maintain a quiet atmosphere as there was no one available for conversation. Once again, thank you for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour soon! Best regards, Max
We booked a private tour because our sister in law had just had knee surgery and was having a little difficulty in walking. Our tour guide was MASSIMO and immediately he knew how to make our tour relaxing and wonderful. While driving to Pisa (our 1st stop) he provided us with incredible knowledge and history, about this beautiful city, Florence! Once we arrived at Firenze, he drove us through beautiful areas including a very exclusive park that has gorgeous huge mansions and surroundings. We were able to experience from a mountain top the breathtaking view of this amazing city, and then gave us with plenty of time to gingerly walk and explore the Brunelleschis Cathedral, Basilica of Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio Bridge, Piazza Della Signoria, the Town Hall of Florence, etc. Overall an amazing tour that left us with unimaginable beautiful memories. Thank you Massimo, two thumbs up and you rock! Hope we can see you again in the near future. Best regards, The Crows
