Pièce maîtresse du parc national de Yangmingshan, près du centre des visiteurs et de la principale gare routière, le parc de Yangming est l'un des premiers arrêts que les visiteurs font souvent lors de leur exploration de Yangmingshan.
Xiaoyoukeng est situé à 800 mètres d'altitude. Les paysages incluent des trous d’air naturels, des sources chaudes, des cristaux de soufre et un terrain de glissement de terrain. Le paysage naturel unique est le meilleur endroit pour les sciences naturelles.
Qingtiangang est un parc de montagne situé au sommet d'une montagne et offre une vue imprenable sur le parc national de Yangmingshan. Par définition, une terrasse de lave, la région a été formée à la suite d’une activité volcanique dans les montagnes voisines. Après l'éruption du mont. Zhugao, la lave a coulé du nord vers la région, créant ce paysage unique. Pendant l'occupation japonaise, la région a été créée en tant que ranch pour le bétail. Le parc abrite toujours des vaches et d'autres animaux sauvages. Cette région de Yangmingshan est très facilement entourée de nuages en raison de son altitude.
Ne laissez pas ce nom vous tromper ! Lengshuikeng signifie littéralement « Fosse d'eau froide », mais l'eau ici est confortable à 40 °C. Elle a gagné son surnom uniquement parce qu'elle est beaucoup plus fraîche que les sources voisines qui dépassent 90°C. C'est une visite incontournable pour son superbe lac Milk, le pont suspendu de Jingshan et le populaire bain de pied public gratuit.
Zhuzihu présente des fleurs saisonnières comme des lys calla et des hortensias seulement pendant des mois fixes. Si votre visite tombe en dehors de ces périodes, vous pouvez choisir de visiter un restaurant ou un café sur Yangmingshan pour une pause (facultatif)
Retour aux hôtels ou autres endroits que vous préférez dans la ville de Taipei à la fin de la visite.

BEWARE, this guide could change your plans last minute on tour day. We carefully planned for weeks and agreed in advance on Yehliu Geopark, Xian Dong Yan Temple/cave and the Keelung fish/shrimp market since they were all in the same area for our private tour day with Nicolas. Instead of Xian Dong Yan temple/cave, Nicolas changed the itinerary last minute on day of the tour. He took us to Zhaoling Temple, which we specifically had no interest in seeing, also an expensive $100 lunch for 2 (only the guide and I ate), pressured us to order more food at the restaurant that felt commission driven. Last stop, instead of taking us to Xian Dong Yan Cave Temple like we planned (20 minutes away from the restaurant), he drove 45 minutes to Jiufen, the tea house where he insisted we ordered tea on a scorching hot day that was planned for another day (it also seemed commission driven). We felt exploited by a guide who was only interested in collecting commissions on top of charging $340 per day. We ended up canceling the second tour entirely but still paid him in full ($680 plus tip for 2 days). Unfortunately, the experience left such a bitter, disgusting impression that we shortened our Taipei stay and flew back to Japan early. In contrast, our guides in Japan consistently honored the agreed itinerary exactly, often exceeded expectations by comparison. This experience with Nicolas felt deeply dishonest and predatory from start to finish.

Great tour in the mountains so close to Taipei. The scenery was beautiful, especially the blooming cherry trees but the highlight was visiting the volcano, a site I will always remember. The guide was a great source of information and a very safe driver on very challenging roads. I highly recommend this tour.

I was lucky to be assigned Nicholas Ying as my guide and driver. I had a 5 hour tour with Nicholas to Yangmingshan National Park where we visited Yangming Flower Clock park, Xiaoyoukeng Recreation area, Qingtiangang Grassland Trails and Jingshan Suspension Bridge. Although it was foggy but Nicholas had checked the weather conditions before arriving to decide which area to visit first so I had an enjoyable time. Nicholas also went pass Yangmingshan American Military Housing area to show me the area and a hidden spot with a beautiful view of Taipei city. For lunch Nicolas recommended me a very nice local Taiwanese Traditional Vermicelli restaurant which was delicious. I highly recommend Nicholas as he was always considerate, punctual, very informative, took initiative, flexible if there were any interesting things along the tour and very sincere. He was also a foodie which was another bonus as I was always interested was very local food. Nicholas was also a very careful driver which was a bonus. He made sure I was comfortable in the car especially since we did travel a lot in very wet and rainy conditions. I was lucky to have Nicolas for 3 separate day tours in Taipei and I highly recommend Nicholas for anyone traveling to Taiwan.

I'll admit, I didn't have high expectations for this tour- a simple volcano tour, but I was pleasantly surprised! My son and I had a great time. The hikes weren't challenging at all, really just a pleasant stroll through some beautiful grasslands, and through hot springs! The scenery and conversation with our guide Paul were great. I've been on tours where the guide was a little too polished and well rehearsed like a professor, and guides that felt like they were a friend showing you around. Paul was a friend showing us around. In fact when he learned my son and I desperately wanted to try beef noodle soup, he offered to take us to his favorite spot back in Taipei, communicate with the waitstaff for us, and allowed us to arrange an Uber back to our hotel. We emphatically agreed! We highly recommend

We had a great time on this trip. Jimmy our guide was fantastic and credit to his company. Looked after us so well and even brought us some breakfast to start the day with. Jimmy even took some photos of us which he sent us which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this trip. Also do the early start to beat the crowds.

Nicolas Ying was our tour guide, and he was fun and awesome! We learned so much about the history of the area from him, and he took us to several beautiful locations on Yangminshan mountain that we would probably have totally missed out on our own. We also really appreciate that he helped us take so many pictures to remember our experiences. I plan on booking with yolo Taiwan again in the future and hope Nicolas is our guide then too!!!
Lief was a great guide. He was very patient with my 8-year-old son and allowed us to explore things at our own pace. I highly recommend him!
