An amazing day trip even though the weather was extremely hot. It was the perfect combination of breathtaking coastal scenery and beautiful mountain landscapes. Our guide (An) was knowledgeable, friendly, and well-organized, making the day enjoyable and stress-free. Transportation was comfortable, and the itinerary was well planned, allowing enough time to explore each destination without feeling rushed. She provided us with extra information along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taiwan. It’s a fantastic way to experience both the island’s unique geological wonders and its beautiful natural landscapes in just one day. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
Steve our guide was informative and friendly. Gave us plenty of time at each location. Would recommend to anyone who wants a tour at their own pace.
We are a family of five on a private tour. Tony, picked us up at our accommodation bang on time. He also communicated with us a day before the tour and gave us instruction what to bring. We didn’t feel rushed. We had been given ample time to enjoy the sceneries. Tony took us to a seafood restaurant. We didn’t have enough cash so Tony paid part of it and I paid him back after finding an ATM. This day trip is worth it. You feel relax with enough space to sit not feeling cramped. Tony treated us to Jiufen’s local delicacy of peanut ice cream wrap. It was delicious. I wish I had more. We missed the waterfall. It was our fault that we ran out of time. Tony was kind enough to compensate it, he allowed us to stop at Taipei 101 for a quick picture taking. I highly recommend booking your tour with Aviator. They are reliable.
Great trip. Our drivers Steve and Tony were knowledgeable and let stay late/leave early at each destination. The destinations were also well chosen.
We spent a very nice day with our driver. We were 2 persons and we were able to coordinate timing with our guide/driver. Doing a trip with a dedicated car and driver makes A difference. The car were of good standard and very clean.
Our guide Jordan was very friendly, was knowledgeable in Taiwan sites, traditions and any other question we asked. His English was good and it was light hearted fun. The tour took us to so many places and it was not rushed. It was a great day out with great company
Eda was an awesome host and driver! Weather wasn’t the greatest (it happens) but we felt like we made the most out of it!
It was nice to have a private driver take us to many of the spots outside of Taipei in one day. Sam, our driver was great. He was friendly, helpful and a safe driver. The weather was mostly rainy but Sam was thoughtful and always dropped off and picked up so we wouldn’t get as wet. He also provided us with bigger umbrellas as we didn’t expect so much rain. I would recommend this option to see the wonderful sights outside of Taipei.
This private tour was such a great experience! My review is based on the itinerary, the guide, and the value of a private tour. Itinerary: We knew we wanted to see some of these sights outside of Taipei, and it was arranged quite well to fit in a lot in a compact day without ever feeling rushed. There was also quite a bit of flexibility built in to the agenda. We felt like we saw touristy sightseeing spots without feeling like they were simple, shallow hops. Guide: A was hands-down amazing, and we’d gladly book & request her again in the future. My parents already have future trips to Taiwan planned and will be booking through this company and guide again. A was an extremely efficient and smooth driver, despite the rain, the winding mountain roads, and bits of traffic. She had plenty of professional commentary to share about the sites, extended extra courtesy and hospitality to my elderly parents (age 78 & 80), and we even had great conversations about coffee, food, and nutrition. We were also impressed by her ability to comfortably float between English, Taiwanese, and Mandarin to accommodate our various levels of language proficiency. Really couldn’t recommend An higher. Private tour: This is really the way to go, especially to preserve the magic of a family vacation. Memories, comfort, and experience are worth the investment, if you can afford it. Highly recommend it, especially for such a long day of travel.
Tony was a phenomenal guide who tailored our tour to our needs. He educated us about culture and history as he took us to the different sites. He also suggested local food and beverages so we could try different things along the way. We had a great experience. Would recommend this tour.
