Nicolas Ying did an excellent job as driver and tour guide, Explained in details all the places and its history to my son in English, my mom in Taiwanese or Mandarin. Customized our tour toward our preferences. Very efficient in visiting all the famous places and helped with photos and videos. Yeliu geo park was very unique. Shifen water fall was another unique place. Really fun writing wishes and launching them with the sky lantern. Stopped at a nice place for lunch with great views. Had excellent teas at lunch and Nicolas introduced me to his favorite tea shop in Taipei where I picked up several unique and excellent tea to enjoy.
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Taiwan! The itinerary was fantastic and covered some of Northern Taiwan’s most beautiful destinations. We visited Shifen Waterfall, explored the charming streets of Jiufen, and wandered through the incredible rock formations at Yehliu Geopark. Every stop offered amazing scenery and great photo/video opportunities. Lunch was delicious, the transportation was comfortable and well organized, and the entire day ran smoothly from start to finish. A huge thank you to my tour guide, Nicolas Ying, who truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and had a great sense of humor. He shared interesting history and local insights throughout the day. His enthusiasm and professionalism made the tour even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taiwan. It’s an excellent way to see some of the country’s most iconic sights without having to worry about transportation or planning.
We took the Northern Taiwan Tour and it was fantastic to experience nature at its best, each stop different in its own right. Our whole day was made all the more special due to our tour guide, Vincent Hsu. He is a delight to talk to, a treasure trove of information, clearly well read, patient, genuinely hospitable and caring, and humorous to boot. I would highly recommend Yolo Taiwan amd Cincent, you just cannot go wrong!
Jackie was a fantastic guide. He gave us lots of information about the places we visited and knew exactly where the best foto opportunities were. He took lots of fotos that he then sent to me. The geo park was interesting, Shifen was amazing , and even though it started to rain when we arrived in the evening at Jiufen, we still got to see the main shopping area and view. He had arranged a restaurant for us to have dinner. We were there on a Thursday with very few people around and with the rain many stalls were closed or closed earlier than usual. Still, well worth it.
We did a full day tour with Jennifer from viator , who’s been really excellent, thoughtful and made our experience wonderful. We learned alot and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We highly recommend her. Fatima & Yousuf
We were in good hands with Vincent and the off and on rain did not spoil our day. Very interesting sites with commentary and photography assistance. Vincent also provided some insight as to how we might spend our remaining time in Taiwan. We have fun pictures and memories of our most enjoyable day with Vincent.
If you want to see the other side of Taiwan this is the tour. Nicolas ying was great and made sure we got some great pictures. He educated us about Buddhism and showed us a good time. We took the northern Taiwan adventure. Waterfalls, sculptured rocks, delicious lunch. Great time.
Peter was amazing! He was so patient with us and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Even though it was extremely hot, he made sure we stayed cool and taken care of throughout the day. He truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. 10/10 would recommend!
Jackson was a fantastic guide. Very kind and understanding. We had a great time seeing so much of Taiwan. Highly recommend.
Roger was great. A couple of suggestions. He was nice enough to have a couple of bottles of water in the car doors in the back. Unfortunately on a 35c/95f degree day they were quite hot. A nice touch would be to have a cooler in the trunk with a few cold waters on the very hot day. Also, Roger, you should slow down your walking to the slowest person in the group. I know you couldn't have been in a rush as we finished our 8 hour tour in 6 hours.
