I enjoyed the tour of the markets. I got most of the things I came for. Ebo helped me find what I was looking for and communicated with the vendors on our behalf. His car was clean and comfortable with A/C. He took us to a popular eating spot ( Living Room) with no wait time that had great food and service. I would highly recommend him.
My sister and I with our daughters attended this tour. We wanted to get shea butter, black soap and women's african style clothing. Ebo knows all parts of the markets and Makola truly is huge! We found what we needed at local prices and was very happy with that, Ebo knows the market ladies and they were really nice to us. Getting the clothes was a bit overwhelming because everything moves so fast there but we did manage to get some nice fits which came in way under budget. Ebo helped us bargain and kept us all safe. As with everywhere, there are people that prey on tourists and pickpockets etc. You'll be in safe hands with Ebo that's for sure! We didn't book via viator because Ebo was referred to us.
The Makola Market was an amazing experience. Ebo guided us through the market with ease and helped us negotiate prices for fabrics, soaps, and clothing. An experience we'll not soon forget.
Ebo provided an AWESOME experience. He showed us the markets and helped us navigate them. He is a GREAT guide and cool to hangout with. He provided great music while shuttling us to the markets. His car was very comfortable with Air Conditioning. My friend called it an all around classy experience. Thank you, Ebo. 5-star rating.
The driver was timely and professional. We all enjoyed the tour. Kobby helped us to not be overcharged and answered all of our never-ending questions with patience and grace!
Excellent tour guide and customer service. Definitely recommend this service for professionalism and safety.
Ebo collected us from our hotel. He let us know that he was downstairs an hour early nd to take our time. The markets were vibrant, busy and hot! We loved it, we wanted to buy Shea Butter and some wax cloth so Ebo took us to the parts of the market to facilitate that. We had lunch at The Living Room and really felt that we had an authentic experience on this market tour. Wear comfy walking shoes.
This was an exciting opportunity to experience Ghanaian market day. I was amazed at the number of people in the market as well as the number of merchants with all the goods sold from spices to clothing. This was overwhelming for me because I like to browse when I am shopping. These people mean business.
Enjoyable tour. Definitely need comfortable footwear. Tour guide Ebo picked us up from our Airbnb and off we went to all the markets on tour and local lunch. Even refreshing coconut water along the way and my husband got a snack of suya...
My husband and I had an amazing experience. The guide was wonderful, he showed us the most authentic part of the markets also he negotiated prices for us. The guide was ver knowledgeable about Ghana and the questions we were asking and the area and the city it self.
