Description
Avec un guide dédié uniquement à votre groupe, cette visite vous permet de découvrir Versailles et son vaste domaine sans la distraction des clients extérieurs. Dès notre arrivée dans la ville de Versailles, nous irons au célèbre marché de la ville pour faire nos courses de pique-nique (coût non inclus). Ensuite, nous parcourrons l’immense parc du Château le long d’un réseau de sentiers fantastiques et de sentiers bordés d’arbres, nous arrêtant en chemin pour partager la riche histoire du palais et de la monarchie française. Après le déjeuner, nous continuerons à travers le terrain pour visiter le Hameau de Marie Antoinette et le Petit Trianon. Enfin, notre tour à vélo vous offre un accès coupe-file au Château pour éviter les files d'attente formidablement longues. Voyez la pièce où les gardes de Marie-Antoinette ont été tués alors qu’ils la protégeaient de la foule au début de la Révolution. Promenade dans l'époustouflante Galerie des Glaces où le roi Louis a accueilli les invités, et des siècles plus tard, le Traité de Versailles a été signé pour mettre fin à la Première Guerre mondiale.

Notre premier arrêt est de visiter le fantastique marché local et de choisir votre nourriture pour le déjeuner
Après avoir fait le tour du terrain à vélo, arrêtez-vous pour un pique-nique pas comme les autres, avec vue sur le canal et le château.
Voir le hameau de Marie Antoinette, un minuscule village avec des animaux
Promenade dans le palais du Trianon.
Profitez d'une entrée programmée réservée au palais et explorez à votre rythme, y compris la galerie des miroirs
Promenez-vous dans les jardins formels et voyez les fontaines exposées

We had a great trip on our bike tour of Versailles. We had been to the palace before, so this was a great way to see the gardens and other buildings. The visit to the market to pick up a lunch was fun. The best part of the trip was our guide Joe (Joris)- he made it interesting and fun. He even sang us songs he wrote about the tour. We can’t recommend this more!

Our guide OJ was absolutely amazing! He was a trooper helping us with unexperienced bike riders in the rain. His knowledge of Versailles and the area made it worry free, and fun to face rain, wind and cold to have a great time even with little ones. He helped us find the best places in the local market! Our VIP Tour Guide was OJ, and he was fantastic: super charming and funny, very well-informed and opinionated. We saw absolutely everything on a very full day, and were exhausted but happy at the end of it.
Julien was an excellent guide - funny and informative. We had to queue very little thanks to the tickets included in the tour cost. This is our 5th Fat Tires Tour across 3 cities and all have been excellent.
We really wanted to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower… and Fat Tire Tours stayed to us that it would be dependant on what they get allocated. What I found surprising (in a good way) was that from the start they acted in good faith and were professional throughout. They have established offices from which you depart from. The Tour Guides know what they are doing… in our case we had to split our group because of scarcity of tickets… Amir was really really REALLY good… well-spoken, interesting, insightful… we really enjoyed the tour and spending time with him. The tour was great… we learned a lot and Amir even took some amazing pictures of us along the way. The other tour guide was just as good (spouse stated)… which reflects the quality of business that they are running. This is not a fly-by-night operation, and they truly want you to get value for your money. Well worth it and would use them again.
We had been to the summit of the Eiffel Tower as a couple but this was our first time with our boys (ages 20 and 16). We felt that the tour guide Fergus, really added a lot to the experience. We spent about 20 minutes (5 minutes per side) with him as he discussed what we were seeing and answered any questions. The 7:30 tour was perfect this time of year because it placed us near the top or on the second floor (your choice) for sunset. FYI: this time of year it “sparkles” at 11 PM and midnight. It was easier to meet at the Fat Tire address for check in as it is chaotic at the foot of the tower for tours. Our group was only 10 people and Fergus did a nice job navigating us through the various lifts. His commentary was a nice mix of engineering, history and sight seeing. His mother should be proud of this “Amazing” young man.
Excellent guide. Fat Tire tours has consistently knowledgeable, friendly guides. Even though a technical problem ( not the fault of the company) did not allow Summit access our guide provided a wonderful tour of the Tower
The tour is a little costly but well worth the cost if ascending the whole Eiffel Tower is one of your family's must-dos. We, and everyone else on our tour, had tried in vain to book tickets to the Tower directly through the Tower site. This tour was perfect because our guide was very low-key. She walked us from the Fat Tire Tours office to the Tower while giving us some historical background on the Tower, and guided us to get to the 2nd level. Then she offered us the choice of hearing more from her about the Tower or doing our own thing. She also was happy to take pictures of us.
Soto was such an incredible guide! He was charismatic, personable, and great at his job! He quickly connected with everyone in our family and was very knowledgeable about the Eiffel Tower and Paris in general. Would most definitely recommend!
OJ our tour guide was excellent. He was very accommodating with our father who has mobility issues. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Paris, and made our trip to the top amazing. He even help us get an Uber after the tour, and made sure we were taking care of.
