An absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our guide went above and beyond to make this tour truly special. He picked us up early in the morning, right on time, and everything was perfectly organized. Watching the sunrise over Teotihuacán from a hot air balloon was magical — a once-in-a-lifetime moment that we will never forget. After the balloon ride, our guide gave us an incredibly informative and engaging tour of the pyramids. His knowledge of the history, culture, and details of Teotihuacán made the site come alive, and he explained everything in a clear, thoughtful, and interesting way. What really stood out was how attentive and passionate he was, making sure everyone felt comfortable, had their questions answered, and truly enjoyed the experience. This tour exceeded all expectations, and our guide was a huge part of what made it so amazing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City — you won’t regret it.
I loved being able to help you, show you a little bit of Teotihuacan and some of the city. I hope you're all doing well. Best regards.
Our balloon ride and private tour of the pyramids was magical! My husband and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary above the pyramids! Our driver, Jorge, picked us up right on time and explained everything we would be doing. Our Balloon ride and breakfast were superb! Our private tour of the pyramids at Teotihuacan with Jorge were incredible! Jorge answered every question and gave us lots of historical significance. We also loved the mezcal and tequila tastings! Hard to choose which was our favorite and we can’t wait to go back!
We had a fantastic experience. Sara was our guide and she did an amazing job from start to finish. She arranged for a driver who arrived at our hotel at 4:45 am, met with us at the hot air balloon depot, and then drove us to then archeological site. She was extremely well informed and answered every single question we had for her, which was a lot. She was able to navigate us around the crowds nicely so we could see the ruins without issue. Afterwards we went to the cutest tortilla shop and made tortillas and had lunch. Probably the best food we had and it was amazing to see them cook fresh food in front of us. Finally we went to an artisan shop and learnt more about obsidian and mezcal. At the end, Sara drove us back to our hotel and we spent the trip learning more about Mexican culture. It was extremely informative and we had a great time! I would highly recommend this company for the private experience. Absolutely worth it in my opinion.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted to hear that Sara's energy, knowledge, and passion for Teotihuacan made your experience unforgettable. Thank you for recommending her, and we hope to host you again soon!
We were picked up in a gorgeous Lincoln, stocked with cold drinks and extra plugs, and they were early for a 4:30 am pick up!! Nothing about the tour was not 5 stars. Our guide was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, did everything she could to please us, and went out of her way to make sure we were doing what we wanted in our private tour. Don’t look elsewhere, book w them and have them design whatever you want. I bet they will do it!
The balloon experience was organized and worked like a well-oiled machine. A safe and smooth experience; we felt very safe. Betsa, our guide, was phenomenal. She was in contact before the tour to confirm details. She’s very knowledgeable about the Teotihuacan site and had facts and illustrations at the ready so we could get the most out of our visit (you definitely need a guide as signage is limited and outdated). She took us to an authentic tortilleria and arranged for us to try some crickets and sour cactus fruit that we’d been discussing on our drive. The visit to the mezcal and gift shop at the end was fun and we found a few gifts we liked. Betsa gave us many recommendations for the rest of our stay, including fabulous restaurants. In fact, I’m sitting at Rosetta as I write this because she gave us a pro-tip to show up for lunch. It’s as good as she described. If you’re looking for a ballon adventure, fascinating history, and a wonderful guide, book here. Thanks, Betsa!
Hot air balloon ride and the ruins. Tour guide was excellent. He went over and above to make our tour!!
Our guide Betsa was so friendly and knowledgeable about Mexican culture and history. She accommodated our diet and introduced us to extraordinary street food as a bonus to the entire experience. She was well-known by the balloon operators and got us to all the best entrances, times for viewing, and helped us navigate the excursion. An experience like she provided was well worth the cost!
Betsa was an absolute pleasure for our private hot air balloon and Teotihuacan tour. She picked us up promptly at our hotel and was a pleasure to chat with on the way. Very personable! The balloon was ready for us and up UP and away! Peaceful, serene, just WOW. We spent the rest of the morning at Teotihuacan. We lucked out because it was empty and had the place to ourselves. Betsa was super knowledgeable and really took us on a journey through the past — even better, she gracefully answered our 1000 questions :-) To cap the day, she took us to a cute, family owned Mexican stand to try some of her local (non touristy) favorites - what a treat! I’d highly recommend this adventure with Betsa! Bravo!
Hi Mr Abeto, we are very happy that everything went well and your tour exceeded your expectations. It's always nice to receive nice reviews like yours. We hope to see you soon. Regards
We had the best time! Our tour guides, Xchel and BetsaL were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They picked us up in front of our hotel in a luxury SUV. Then we went to the hot air balloons where they took care of everything. They gave us a private tour of Teotihuacan where they taught us a lot of stuff such as the history of the site, the efforts that the archaeologists and governments have put into it, the people in the area, and even about the accreditation process to become a tour guide. My husband enjoyed talking with them on the way back to our hotel about Mexico in general. Definitely take this tour!
We had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable. He brought us to an authentic Mexican taco stands which was amazing!
