Our group learned a great deal about the city and it's history from our guide, John. We really enjoyed St. George's Market for shopping and getting a bite to eat. While the city is amazing, the Titanic Museum was really wonderful. We definitely covered the city and would use Belfast Tours NI should we come back to Belfast.
Hello Lynn, Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to hear that your group learned a great deal about Belfast and its history from your guide, John. We will certainly pass along your kind words to him; he is very passionate about sharing the city's rich past. It's fantastic to know that you enjoyed your visit to St. George's Market for both shopping and a bite to eat. We also agree that the Titanic Belfast museum is a truly remarkable experience, and we're glad it was a highlight for you. We are pleased that you felt you "definitely covered the city" during your tour. Your comment about using Belfast Tours NI again if you return to Belfast is the highest compliment we could receive. It was my 40th birthday this week and a lifelong dream for me to visit the Titanic museum and the hotel in one day. Our table was booked for 16.45 by the time we arrived there was a wedding party that didn't move on. As soon as it got busy/ semi busy it was evident the staff didn't have a clue in the hotel, we were there 4 hours from start to finish it was evident that the staff and the manager were not organised. At one point there were 5 people stood in the kitchen looking at one check. We had ask 4 times for crackers to go with our cheese, when the cheese arrived it was supposed to be for 2 people but was only for 1 person. When we actually got the food it was out of this world, beautifully presented and tasty it was the organisation and staff that let us down in this.
Hi there, You have left a 1-star, negative review on the wrong company's page. We are a private tour company based in Belfast that is not affiliated with the Titanic Hotel. Can you please remove the review as it may harm my business and future bookings? Kind regards Belfast Tours
We always enjoy city bus tours and the trip around Belfast did not disappoint. Through hopping on and off we had 2 different guides. One appeared to provide the commentary spontaneously and his jokes were delivered well. The other was clearly reading a script because when we were the only people on the bus they still referred to passengers from other parts of the world! However, that said, the bus went to all the tourist hotspots which enabled us to appreciate the history of the city. My only negative point is that there were no commentary options for passengers who do not speak English. It didn’t affect our experience but I think it’s a shame that they would have missed out on this history.
Hi Maggie, Unfortunately, you have put a review on the wrong company trip advisor page. Belfast Tours NI do not operate the Hop On, Hop Off bus tours of Belfast City. We only offer private tours of Northern Ireland. Kind Regards Belfast Tours NI
This was a great experience in Belfast. Michael was our guide and was very friendly and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. He also let us customize out tour so we could spend time at the spots we were most interested in. I would absolutely recommend this group for anyone looking to travel to Belfast. It’s also nice being in a van versus a big tour bus, and priced better.
Dear Lindsay, Thank you for taking the time to write this great review and for your 5-star rating. I'm glad you enjoyed your tour with Michael and will be sure to pass your kind words to him. Thank you for choosing Belfast Tours NI for your private tour. Kind Regards Nicole Yilmaz
Great driver who provided excellent knowledge of historical events and current situations linked to religion and politics, economics and people Provided a comprehensive local tour of key city locations, murals, religious sites. At times it becomes quite overwhelming especially when there continues to be never ending issues Worked thru Murat. The price was a bit higher than the competitors but we were able to confirm quickly Clean and well appointed vehicle and efficient and on time pickup and delivery Would recommend them!

After spending the day with our amazing tour guide, Murat, we decided to ask him to create a new itinerary for our second day while in the Belfast area. This customized tour did not disappoint! On Tuesday, October 5th, we walked down to the lobby of our hotel a bit early and Murat was there, right in front, with the Van's door open, with a big smile on his face, greeting us with his warm welcome. He quickly whisked us off to the Armagh Museum in Northern Ireland, located on the edge of the tree-lined Mall in the center of Armagh city. The museum is the oldest County Museum in Ireland opened in 1937. We were able to take our time, walking through all the exhibits, taking us through the history of Armagh. Once we finished up at the Museum, we were able to take a short stroll over to St Patrick's Cathedral. Did you know this place has been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times??? I wish my pictures were able to capture how breathtaking this church is. Between the vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows, it was beautiful. Once again, after taking our time walking through, Murat was waiting for us with the luxury Mercedes Van, right out front of the church. Did I mention he has a frig in the back of this vehicle? The offer of cold drinks was so welcomed for me and the family. On the lovely ride back to Belfast through the country side, Murat filled us in with interesting facts and history as we passed by different landmarks. Of special note, he took the time to engage with meaningful conversation with our daughter who just graduated from Queens University. It's clear they both have a passion for history as well as the travel bug. For our next part of the tour, Murat took us through area were the "Troubles" occurred and that included , Falls Road, the Peace Wall, Shankill Road, International Mural Wall Divis Street, Shankill Road and the Bobby Sands Mural. His wealth of knowledge, was informative and the very personal stories were both fascinating and sobering . To learn the history and be on the streets where so much bloodshed occurred was an experience unlike anything I’ve ever done before. Murat's respectable manner of telling both sides of story was impeccable. Next stop, Belfast Castle! While it was still closed due to COVID, Murat was able to tell us about the " 9 cats scavenger hunt" and we had a great time looking for them throughout the garden! The lawns were meticulous and the landscaping was beyond stunning. Last stop, Afternoon Tea at the Merchant Hotel. Our fabulous tour guide made all the arrangements for this opulent experience. This is a must do if you are visiting Belfast. We are so glad we invited Murat to join us at the table, as he ensured our dietary needs were followed, we had a member of the family who is Vegan and another one that has a nut allergy. While he was our guest for tea, he continue to be so diligent in taking care of us!!!! During our tea, I almost order a "VERY" expensive cocktail by accident! (Caution! Please look at the price tag for the Sazerac with Vintage Bourbon / Vintage Cognac / Bitters) After he confirmed that I was not interested in that particular cocktail, he asked one of the waiters to bring the vintage bourbon bottle over and they explained why the $$$. We had such a good laugh and I am grateful for Murat's ever watchful eye, always looking out for us.

I can't rate this tour highly enough! Murat did a wonderful job showing me and my father some of the well-known (and lesser known) areas of Northern Ireland. Knowing that my father is older and can't walk easily, Murat made the tour easy to navigate, and was a pleasure to travel with in his VERY comfortable vehicle. This type of tour is ideal for older travelers, and allows you to pick where you want to go. Murat communicated our plans very well and was very knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited. We were so happy with the tour that we asked Murat to take us for a Belfast tour the next day, and we were fortunate that he was available. We will most definitely use this company on our next visit!
