La Chaussée des Géants est un site du patrimoine mondial et aurait été créée à la suite d'une éruption volcanique il y a plus de 60 millions d'années. Selon la légende, la Chaussée a été construite par Finn Mc Cool, un géant local de plus de 12 pieds de hauteur.
Nous nous arrêterons dans cette petite ville côtière pittoresque pendant environ 1 heure pour le déjeuner. paysage.
Nous ferons un arrêt pour vous faire voir le château de Dunluce. Cette ruine emblématique témoigne d'une longue et tumultueuse histoire. Construit pour la première fois sur les falaises côtières spectaculaires du nord du comté d'Antrim par la famille MacQuillan vers 1500, le plus ancien document écrit du château remonte à 1513.
À notre retour à Belfast, nous voyagerons à travers les neuf Glens d'Antrim et votre guide vous racontera des histoires et du folklore de ces Glens incroyables et magiques.

Nous visiterons le point de vue de Portaneevy avec ses vues spectaculaires sur le pont de corde de Carrick-A-Rede et l'île de Rathlin, située à seulement six miles de la côte à Ballycastle.
Cushendall est une petite ville côtière pittoresque au pied de la montagne de la table, avec sa tour historique du couvre-feu construite en 1817. Nous nous arrêtons pour une pause confort de 15 min.

The Giant’s Causeway was the primary stop and it was wonderful. The lunch was very good at a restaurant with very nice views. It was not clear that we would drive by, and not stop, at any other significant places. The rest of the trip was driving through one section of Belfast where there are murals of the “Troubles.” The narrative was the politics of the time, the driver showing a picture of some horrendous violence that occurred, adding a distinct personal political slant.
Paddy our tour guide was full of stories and history. He and the driver effortlessly guided us through this day of the beautiful countryside. The Giants Causeway is amazing! We saw the Carrick A Rede rope bridge from a view point. The setting is gorgeous! Lunch was on our own, O'Conners was efficient and delicious! My husband loved the seafood chowder. We drove past the Peace Walls in Belfast. We saw so much on this excursion . It is a good combination of country and city.
Tour guide was great. Pick up at the port was easy. You don’t get close to the walking bridge it’s a long ways away for a photo no way to cross the bridge. Still beautiful . Causeway was cool but thought the area was going to be bigger. The lunch was great. The bus ride was great.
The way the Causeyway is put together, the stones and geology are unreal and amazing; Nature made that!?! The entire experience was through one of the quaintest and most beautiful parts of Nothern Ireland. I appreciated our guide's sense of humor, depth of knowledge, and general enthusiasm. I appreciated his personal insights into the Troubles and why Belfast is Belfast.
Stephen gave possibly the best Viator tour we have ever had and we have been on many! He was a former driver of the stars and directors of the Game of Thrones series for 6 seasons so his driving skills knowledge and commentary are unmatched. All the stops and places he took us to were spot on beautiful and highly enjoyable. I will highly recommend this tour to our family and friends traveling this way in the future.
This was a great tour. We had plenty of time to see all kinds of things, and never felt rushed. They took very good care of us.
Great value of the tour. It is much lower price than cruise’s tour for the same destination. Paddy knows Belfast and surrounding very well. Very well paced.
We happened to be in Belfast in a bad day! There was much unrest in the city so it greatly affected the course of our intended journey. Our driver and guide Stephen was fabulous, got us to the castle, the giants causeway and rope bridge before making the decision that is was in our best interest to head back to the ship. He was very concerned with our safety and well being during the entire trip and kept us informed as to what was happening and how sorry he was.
The Giants Causeway tour was one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on and Amanda & Ryan were the best tour guide/driver combo I’ve ever had. Amanda was so engaging with everyone. I’ve never had a “bad” guide but never one that made it a point to talk to and get to know everyone on board. And 21 year old Ryan handles that coach like main kids handle a bike, effortless. Amanda’s lunch recommendation in Ballycastle (O’Connors) was spot on and they deserve their own accolades. They were on top of it when we swarmed their business and but they hustled to get everyone taken care of within the hour. Oh yeah, should mention the tour stops. Giants Causeway was amazing! Definitely a highlight of our 12 day cruise in the British Isles. And just the scenery you see passing by is breath taking. Book this, you won’t be disappointed.
The trip guide, Amanda, was so great. She made everyone feel comfortable, was very informative and fun. The driver Ryan also great.
