Visite privée de la DMZ de Corée avec visite commémorative de guerre comme service

Description
We loved this tour! It is a must if you make it to Seoul!!! Our guide was very proud of her country and wanted us to see as much as possible!! She was wonderful! Highly recommend! We would change NOTHING! :)
Very informative. John really made the story of the DMZ, the history and the current reality, come to life. My favorite part was the walk through the tunnel into the DMZ zone where you can see how North Korea tried to penetrate South Korea. They have discovered four tunnels but believe there are many more which may be in use today by spies. Also the observation deck to look towards North Korea to see their propaganda villages and the flag wars! Definitely ask for John or Julie. Well paced tour, great for history buffs and casual tourists looking to better understand the DMZ. I highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and tour of the DMZ, and we would highly recommend Dylan as a private tour guide. Dylan was punctual, personable, and incredibly informative throughout the entire experience. As a former Korean military officer, he offered unique insight and in-depth knowledge of the area, its history, and the current situation. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, Dylan made the tour engaging with his excellent storytelling, personal experiences, and deep understanding of the DMZ’s significance. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine passion for sharing Korean history made our tour unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would recommend Dylan to anyone visiting the DMZ..
We learned about the Korean War not only by visiting the actual battlefields and seeing remnants such as landmines and bullet-marked bridges, but also through the amazing stories told by our guide, John. He truly brought the whole experience to life. He even shared his own story from when he served in the military during the Olympics—a time that was especially challenging—which made his insights even more meaningful. There were so many things we couldn’t have experienced without being on a private tour or without John’s guidance. He carefully arranged the order of our visits so we never had to wait long anywhere. One of my favorite moments was viewing North Korea from the observatory—it was such a unique and unforgettable experience. Since we showed great enthusiasm to explore more, John even took us to Camp Greaves, where we saw how UN officers once worked in the DMZ and visited the filming location of a famous K-drama. As big K-drama fans, that was such a thoughtful and special surprise! Nothing could have been better than what we experienced—thanks entirely to our wonderful guide, John.
We had a good experience on this tour! Our guide John was very helpful – he contacted us in advance to buy tickets and get the permit, and even kept us updated about the weather. During the trip, he shared many interesting stories about the history of the DMZ and Korea, showing knowledge and passion. He also gave us advice for the hike we planned for the next day. We’re very satisfied and highly recommend this tour!
There were so many DMZ tours out there, but I picked this one because it was described as being led by real experts — and wow, I couldn’t have made a better choice. Julie was totally different from any guide I’ve ever had. She shared all these hidden stories. I'll never find it in a book or brochure. She didn’t just explain the DMZ. She told us about the businessman who drove 1,001 cows to North Korea, and the North Korean soldiers who risked their lives escaping through the zone. Her stories were so vivid, it really felt like watching a movie. Julie brought history to life. Sometimes we laughed, sometimes we were close to tears. The 8-hour tour went by in what felt like no time at all. Without Julie, I never would’ve had such an amazing experience. Thank you Julie. I’d love to come back with my friends next time just to hear her stories again. It was honestly a perfect day.
I had an outstanding private DMZ tour in Paju with Brian as our guide. Having lived abroad for many years with extensive life experience, Brian brought a unique perspective that really enhanced the tour. What impressed me most was his deep understanding of Korea's geopolitical situation and how it's perceived internationally. He didn't just share facts—he provided detailed, thoughtful explanations that helped us truly understand the complexities of the Korean standoff and its broader context. Brian was excellent at addressing questions with clarity and depth, offering practical insights you wouldn't get from a typical tour guide. This experience really showed me the value of a private tour—the personalized attention and meaningful engagement made all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone wanting more than just a surface-level DMZ experience
I almost didn’t book because there was only one review, but I’m so glad I did. This tour turned out to be much more than I expected. Chuck’s deep knowledge and personal family story about the Korean War touched my heart. His father escaped from North Korea during the war, and his family went through the pain of separation. Hearing his sincere and emotional story made history come alive in such a powerful way. It wasn’t just a tour — it was a truly moving experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you, Chuck, for sharing your heart and giving us such a meaningful day.
We had a tour with Chuck today. He picked us up on time at our hotel, he speaks good English, and is very knowledgable about the history and military stuff. It was a nice tour overall except for the weather: we couldn't see anything from the observatory due to the thick fog. Try to book for a day with clear forecast.
An absolutely unforgettable DMZ tour with our guide Dylan, a former military officer. His firsthand stories from years of service made the experience unique and powerful. When sudden rain hit, he even lent me his old military raincoat, and at the end, surprised us with authentic Korean military rations as a gift. Thanks to Dylan’s background and generosity, this was far more than a tour—it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! After the DMZ, we also visited the War Memorial of Korea, where I saw the names of my country’s fallen soldiers engraved on the Wall of Remembrance. It made the day even more meaningful, and I strongly recommend choosing this package (DMZ + War Memorial) for anyone visiting Korea.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip in Korea.
