Description

Had a two wonderful days with Dinu. First day was to the Transfagrasan highway. Dinu took care of us very well, both during the travel and while we're in the lake Balea, especially our kid. Took us to a very good restaurant on way back to home. Even though we took a lot of unscheduled stops, still he was very accomdative. Second day, we went to Sighisoara & Viscri and again he took great care of us so well in during the entire trip, ensuring our comfort throughout, again more importantly of our kid's. As a guide too, he shared lot of informations not just about the places of interest but shared a lot about Romanian culture and history. Overall, we left Brasov with wonderful memories, and Dinu being the major reason for it. Highly recommended for any one looking for planned trips around Brasov, including if you are looking for a personalized SKI instructor.
Thank you for your very detailed review. It looks like you really enjoy your day tours around Brasov :)
I took this tour with Ramona, she is always there for me from the beginning since I booked this tour until the drop off, prompt and attentive to answer my questions. She told me many interesting stories about Romania histories while we take a drive to Carpathian Mountains. We are very lucky to encounter with brown bears along the way to the lake! The scenery throughout the entire journey is beyond your imagination and to top it off when you arrive at the lake, the view there could take your breath away! Ramona guide me for a walk around the lake and give me suggestion about what food should I try. We dine at the area near the lake which is amazing. The bonus stop of this trip you could pick one for yourself, I choose to go to Carta Monastery, a hidden gem for ancient history lover. I really encourage everyone to go on this trip once in your lifetime not only because of the beauty you will see in Transylvania nature and places but as the road has limited access, opens only for a short summer period (Jun-Sep/Oct) and only if the weather conditions is permitted, if you got a chance, do not hesitate to join this magnificent experience with Ramona!
Thank you for the very detailed review, sounds like you had a lot of fun while touring Transfagarasan road :)
Such a great day trip to Transfagarasan. My boyfriend and I, we enjoyed every second. Romana was just amazing and full of knowledge. We will be back soon
Thank you for the 5 stars review!
Me and my partner did a trip on the Transfagarasan road with Ramona and was a great day, a real highlight of our trip. Ramana is professional, friendly and great company and do not hesitate to recommend a trip with her :)
Thank you for the fabulous review :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Romona. Our first day was a 2 hour tour of Brasov city center. The second day included a tour of Peles Castle, Bram Castle followed by dinner at a very authentic Shepherds Restaurant. On our last day we drove the Transfagarasan Road and ate a delicious meal at a nearby trout farm followed by a visit to a unesco site that transforms wool from its original state to useable yarn. Ramona grew up in Brasov and provides considerable insight, knowledge and history about Brasov and greater Romania. She is very considerate and personable, and maintained a walking pace that was comfortable for my wife. She seeks feedback from her clients and makes adjustments accordingly, for example, she monitored the weather and moved our Transfagarasan Road trip so that we had great weather. We have pictures that look like those on Trip Advisor. Thanks again and when back in Romania we will seek out Ramona.
Thank you for the very detailed review and hope to see you soon in Romania :)
We had a very good experience with a very good guide,Ramona! Ramona gave us a lot of information and advice for the rest of the time in Brasov and around. Romana is a very good driver and a very nice person!
Good to hear that you enjoyed your Transfagarasan road day tour. Thank you for the review!
Very long but beautiful ride and breathtaking landscapes. Sorin is a great guide, he is very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you again for this amazing day.
Very welcome and thank you for the 5 stars review :)
Ramona was so kind and accommodative on our tour of the highway! She was very comfortable with the area and you can tell that she loves Brasov and all it has to offer. We were able to really get a feel of the place and gave us lots of time to take pictures and adventure around. Seriously, one of the most gorgeous places that I’ve ever been! Would definitely recommend!
So happy to hear that you enjoyed your day trip so much :)
We took 2 days worth of tours with Ramona, the Transfagarasan Highway and a second day visiting Peleş Castle, Bran Castle & Poiana Braşov. Ramona was very prompt with her communication prior to the trips and also collected on time from our hotel on both days. We had 2 wonderful days with Ramona who is a very knowledgeable guide who gave us all of the history of Romania generally as well as detailed information on each attraction. In Poiana Braşov she took us to a typical Romanian restaurant and after the Transfagarasan Highway to a trout farm(which also serves non fish food too!) both restaurants were fabulous. We will definitely be returning to Transylvania, as we have only scratched the surface, and when we do we will definitely be using Ramona at Day Trips Braşov again.
So good to hear that you fully enjoyed the days that you spend in Transylvania. You are always welcome back :) Thank you very much for the fabulous review!
Although this trip involves a lot of driving, it's definitely worth it! Probably the best trip you could book while visiting Romania. A drive not to be missed with spectacular and varying views around every corner. All preparation cannot really give you the right picture of what you are going to see, and the emotions you are going to have during the tour on this formidable route. Our guide was very professional and he had very much knowledge about nature, economy, history and everything. I am passionate about doing road trips, but Transfagarasan was one of the best road trips in my life, if you are into this you will definitely like it. On the way back to Brasov we stopped at beautiful fish farm where we took our lunch on a terrace facing the mountains that we just left. The food was amazing same as the view. This was a day to remember, thank you very much for the day trip!
Indeed is a beautiful road trip, thank you very much for such a detailed review :)
