Le Dôme de la Bombe Atomique est un symbole de paix pour la ville d'Hiroshima. Utilisé à l'origine comme salle préfectorale, le dôme a explosé lors de l'explosion, tuant tout le monde à l'intérieur. Cependant, la structure du dôme est restée et a été utilisée depuis comme symbole du désir de paix du peuple et a été désignée site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 1996. Votre guide vous proposera une histoire et des explications, tout en vous permettant de réfléchir sur le tragédie qui s'est produite.
Situé à côté du Dôme, le parc du Mémorial de la Paix était autrefois un quartier commercial très fréquenté du centre-ville. De nos jours, c'est un espace vert calme, dédié au souvenir de ceux que nous avons perdus et à notre espoir d'un avenir plus paisible. Le guide vous aidera à parcourir le parc, vous fournissant histoire et explications quand vous le souhaitez.
Le Memorial Museum sera une expérience sombre, où vous verrez des objets laissés par les victimes de l'attentat ainsi que des témoignages déchirants des survivants. Regardez des photos de la dévastation massive de l'époque et découvrez l'aspect militaire de l'attaque. Le guide prendra du recul et vous permettra de traiter les expositions à votre manière.
Connue dans le monde entier pour son emblématique torii flottant, Itsukushima est le symbole de l'île de Miyajima. C'est un endroit magnifique et paisible où vous pourrez vous prélasser au soleil tout en profitant de la vue sur la mer. Les cerfs errants qui errent partout rendent cette île tout à fait unique. Après avoir visité la porte tori, dirigez-vous vers le sanctuaire d'Itsukushima. Le sanctuaire se compose d'une salle de prière, d'une salle principale et d'une scène de théâtre nô, reliées par des passerelles et soutenues par des piliers au-dessus de la mer.
Le temple Daiganji est dédié à Benzaiten, la déesse de l'éloquence, de la musique, de la sagesse et de la richesse, et est connu comme l'un des trois temples Benzaiten les plus célèbres du Japon.
Cette ancienne rue commerçante regorge de cerfs et de nombreux magasins, restaurants et cafés. Promenez-vous à votre rythme, arrêtez-vous pour prendre une collation ou acheter des souvenirs.

This tour is wonderful!!! Our guide was friendly and VERY knowledgeable. She was able to explain a lot of the significance behind each memorial Hiroshima spot and also answered all our questions. Then when we went to the island we got a full tour of the shrine and two temples. It is a lot of walking so if you are okay with that you will love this tour! We were all able to walk everything with no issues.

Aki is an amazing tour guide! We've had several tours in Japan within the past week, and hers was outstanding! Her knowledge of the tiniest details of the trip, such as which ferry arrives closest to the Torii Gate, shows her expertise. She has the best recommendations for street food, and knows the best vantage point for pictures. There were several points during the day when she went above and beyond for a family member who was struggling with mobility, to the point where she got a wheelchair from the museum and proceeded to push them up and down hills and around the museum and the park for the rest of the day. We can't say enough wonderful things about Aki. If we could give her 10 stars, we would!

We booked a private tour for the two of us, and it was quite useless. The guide hardly spoke to us. During transfers, he would sit separately from us and provided very little information unless we specifically asked questions all the time. The only time he really joined us was during the lunch break, where he let us pay for his meal without us offering to do so. We were also repeatedly asked to take photos for his agency. It was absolutely not worth the $360 we paid.

We had a wonderful experience with Kahori as our guide in Miyajima Island and Hiroshima. She was incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful throughout the entire tour, and made sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably for us. Kahori was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting stories and insights about everything we visited. On Miyajima Island, we explored the beautiful shrine and saw the impressive Buddha statues, which was truly special. In Hiroshima, she guided us through the Peace Park, showed us the remaining historic buildings, and accompanied us through the museum, which was very moving and deeply impressive.
