This was an excellent tour. So much history and a personal tour is the way to go. You learn so much, and can pick and choose what you want to see, hear, and learn about. Luba was above and beyond and we highly recommend her. If you get the chance book this tour. You will be amazed.
The private transfer to Bratislava was very nice. We met our guide Ingrid at the castle and we began our tour. Ingrid was wonderful and gave us so much interesting history. My mother in law was with me so Ingrid took her time walking us around making sure my mother in law was comfortable and able to keep up. We loved our day!
This tour was very expensive. The drive r arrived later for pick-up initially staying 8am then 9am then 9:20am. The driver wasn’t flexible with pick-up times and we had to leave by 3pm hence the day was rushed. Bratislava is not a nice city - the local people are extremely rude and very unfriendly and it didn’t feel safe. I do not recommend this tour.
Great trip. Our guide was TIMO. He was fabulous. We were picked up at the hotel right on time. Drive to Bratislava was about an hour. Timo talked to us on the way giving us all sorts of information on Vienna. Once in Bratislava, we drove around a little bit to see things, then got our at the castle. Timo went with us and gave us a guided tour and then we all walked to the old town. He was full of interesting stories and facts. After touring for a few hours he left us on our on and met us at a predetermined time for the ride back to Vienna. Definitely worth it.
Learning about the coronations and the history the town Peter the driver and Suzanne the guide were both knowledgeable and friendly.
Very knowledgeable driver and tour guide. They know about history from A to Z. Very classy car provided us everything as well. Highly recommend.
Me and my family had the most amazing experience on this trip. Our friend and guide Marko was an outstanding host and he is highly recommended. Brilliant day.
It was very interesting to see the contrast between Vienna and Bratislava. Good to see if you have time. There were 4 of us, plus the driver. The drive there was comfortable in the minivan, but very cramped coming back in a sedan vehicle. Our guide in Bratislava was nice and interesting, but the pace and focuses were not great. We would have liked to spend more time at the synagogue memorial, going into St Maartens and learning about the lifestyle of Slovakia. She rushed through stuff at first and then seemed to be trying to find stuff to show us at the end to fill the time. We went back to the cathedral after parting with our guide and we were glad we did… it’s the best part of the city.
Great 1 day trip for everyone. Driver was prompt for pick up and offered great conversation. Met our guide in Bratislava and he was wonderfully knowledgeable and it was truly an amazing experience that was enjoyed by all.
My husband and I did the small group tour of Bratislava with Super Tours. We were picked up from our hotel by a very nice driver who also gave us some background of Bratislava during the drive. Once in Bratislava, we met some more in the group and Jana was our tour guide. I did not know much about Slovakia before the tour, but we learned a lot of the history as well as current state. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the personal insights that Jana provided (for example, life under communism and how the fall of the Berlin wall impacted the country). I highly recommend the tour for anyone with an interest in something a little different than Vienna. We were back by dinnertime so were able to still enjoy Vienna at night.
