- Aussi, nous tenons à vous avertir que la dernière rangée sur le véhicule 4x4 est un peu difficile à monter aussi et les genoux seront un peu hauts pendant le voyage , Ce ne sera pas un problème pour les adolescents ,les personnes agiles ou plus petites, mais ce sont les sièges les moins confortables, et le véhicule sera à son max.

I traveled to Sao Miguel with my husband and 3 kids. We wanted to see as much of the island as we could and knew that traveling with a local guide would be the best way to learn about the island. We booked two days so we could see different areas with the island and we were with Delfin for both of those days. He was such an informative guide telling us about the island, the people, the cows!, and the volcanic formation of the island. My husband was specifically interested in seeing the Priolo while we were there. Delfin made no promises that we would get to see it however we saw 15-20! Thanks to Delfin for knowing the territories to go to. We learned so much and had a great time thanks to Delfin and his patience with our kids as well!
The tour was our best experience on the island. You choose the route and what you want to see, and the guide/driver (in our case, Marcio) was wonderful. He took us on paths that only a 4x4 can access, and he was attentive to the weather (to avoid taking us to places where, due to clouds and low visibility, it would have been a waste of time). I went with two people over 70 years old, and he was very attentive to ensure they could enjoy everything. We also did not speak English or Portuguese, but Marcio made an effort to speak Spanish, and we understood absolutely everything very well (he also shares very interesting things about the island). We were very happy and would repeat it without hesitation. Thank you, Marcio, for everything!
This is our third time visiting Sao Miguel and we always book with Delfim. His knowledge of the island, its history, the geological formations, the topography is vast and frankly, he must know everyone on the island! This trip was with my family and my sister's family and our adult children. We booked three days of tours with Delfim and Marcio for our stay. They were very flexible as to what we wanted to do and see. The weather changes on a dime and they were adept at tweaking our itinerary according to what would be ideal. We recommend T4W to all our friends. They are top notch!
The best experiences on the island. The Delfim was tireless, showed us beautiful areas, explained how the Azores formed in a detailed but super simple way. Our guide Gonzales made sure we were all comfortable and the vehicle was perfect for our party. We had so many great experiences and saw so many things on Sao Miguel that we wouldn’t have been able to see or do without his knowledge and help. We had a great lunch at a local buffet serving so many local specialties, and we did so many things during this day that it was truly amazing. We never felt rushed or tired and laughed so much, and were overwhelmed by the beauty of what we experienced

Luis our your guide was absolutely brilliant!! Being less mobile, he planned our day to suit our disabilities. It was a fun & informative experience! I would highly recommend using this company to take you round their beautiful Island! If I could I'd give it a 10* rating!!
Perfect day, Luis did a great job. We visited Furnas and various intermediate destinations. Luis had lots of extra info and a great tip for lunch
This tour was a highlight of our 15-day transatlantic cruise. We had friends that did the Royal Caribbean (ship) excursion and from what we heard, there is just no comparison. Our driver and tour operator Luis was amazing! He took us on dirt "paths" to viewpoints that no bus would ever get to. We did visit the main tourist attractions but also spent a lot of time "off road". We requested lunch at a local's restaurant and again, Luis came through. I ordered the Azores specialty - Octopus, and while it was not my favorite, I can see how people would like it. This whole day was just so much fun! We had the opportunity to customize our tour but mostly just had Luis take us to his favorite spots.
Pur time with Luis was wonderful. He took us to beautiful areas on the island. Some of the areas needed a 4x4, so it was great to have those available. He asked us what we wanted to see and customized the day to us. He has a great knowledge of the island, not only places to visit but also the history. He was fun and pleasant. We would highly recommend Luis.
