If you are considering a private tour of Lisbon or Sintra, I cannot recommend Luis from Wellcam highly enough. I booked two full-day experiences with him—a Lisbon tour and the Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais tour—and both were outstanding. Luis is an exceptional guide who blends history, culture, and local insight in a way that makes every stop meaningful. Beyond the major highlights, he shared fascinating stories about Portugal and daily life in the region that you simply would not learn exploring on your own. As a solo female traveler, I also want to emphasize how comfortable and well cared for I felt throughout both days. The transportation was seamless and made visiting Sintra and the surrounding coast incredibly easy. Luis was thoughtful, professional, and very attentive. One unexpected highlight was the local recommendations he shared—even suggesting great restaurants near my Airbnb for the evenings after the tours. That extra level of care made the experience feel very personal. Spending two days exploring Lisbon, Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais with Luis was one of the highlights of my time in Portugal. If you are looking for a knowledgeable private guide and a truly memorable experience, I highly recommend booking a tour with Wellcam.
Thank you, Anniece! It was a great pleasure to welcome you and share a little of the surrounding area with you. When the company is good, everything is easier. Muito obrigado! LR
What an amazing experience to visit Portugal and discover the hidden gems. Our tour guide Luis felt like family. I’m ready to book my next trip with him. His services is a luxury experience that will cater to your specific needs. You won’t be disappointed.
Hi Sheena! Thank you so much for your kind words. It was such a pleasure meeting you all. Obrigado! LR
My wife and I took 2 day tour— Sintra and Cascais one day and Lisbon city next. Luis is very knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. He understood our preferences and limitations and modified the itinerary accordingly. Made sure he could drop and pick us up as close to attractions as possible. He made extra effort on his free time to arrange another agent to provide a tour we wanted. He was unable to provide due to his earlier commitments. Based on my search online his charges were lower than many.
Hi Mr Adhi! Hope you're doing well. Thank you so much for the pleasant time we spent together. It was such a pleasure meeting you and your wife. Obrigado! LR
We are glad that we took this excursion. Luis, our guide was phenomenal. He is so friendly and passionate about his work. He is knowledgeable and likes to share history of Portugal with other people. We had great time with him. In addition Luis is the professional photographer and the photographs he took of us will make this trip more memorable. Luis we are looking forward to com to Portugal and learn and explore more of your country. We are highly recommend Luis and his company to other tourists.
Luis was a wonderful driver and guide for the 12 of us visiting Sintra, and Cascais. He walked through the palaces with us explaining the rich history, and so knowledgeable about the whole area and the way of life in Portugal. We had some great conversations with him and he took us to a wonderful spot overlooking the Atlantic oven for lunch. I wish we had booked him for all of Portugal and not just one portion of it.
What a great day we had! Thank you so much and hope to see you all back here soon! All the best, LR
An amazing tour and operator. Don't think twice about this tour! We loved every moment and had a wonderful time with our tour guide. The operator ensures the best tour guides in the business. Our guide was professional, calm, fluent in English, and knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed at all, and we were given the opportunity to customize or focus on our interests rather than adhere to a strict schedule. The car was super clean, roomy and comfortable for the day tour. I highly recommend this tour with this operator which made us love Portugal even more. Luis and Pedro will be our "go to" tour guides when we visit Portugal the next time to discover more regions of this gorgeous country.
Thank you Mr Thaer for your kind words! It was a pleasure to share with you all a little bit of Portugal. We hope this was just the first of many adventures around here! We will be waiting you! Best wishes, Luis Rodrigues
