Après un départ matinal au départ de Londres, nous vous emmènerons sur une belle campagne à travers les villes de Hungerford et Marlborough sur notre chemin pour visiter le plus grand cercle de pierres du monde. À Avebury, non seulement vous vous émerveillerez de la taille du monument, mais vous aurez également le choix de toucher les pierres anciennes et d'améliorer toutes ses énergies surnaturelles.
En entrant dans le comté de Wiltshire, nous visitons le charmant village de Lacock. Célèbre pour sa beauté pittoresque, Lacock attire des visiteurs du monde entier à la recherche de films de séries de films et de séries télévisées populaires de Harry Potter à Downton Abbey. Votre guide vous racontera l'histoire de l'abbaye et vous montrera le village Lockup et la grange des dîmes qui rendent Lacock unique.
L'arrêt le plus long de la journée de cette visite est réservé à la seule ville du patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco en Angleterre. Bath a tout, du temple romain aux magnifiques rangées de logements géorgiens comme le Royal Crescent et Circus. Votre guide vous racontera toutes les histoires de la légende de Bladud à l'invasion romaine de la Grande-Bretagne pendant votre voyage vers la ville, où vous bénéficierez ensuite de 2,5 heures de temps libre pour profiter du musée des thermes romains (entrée non incluse) et vous arrêter pour le déjeuner.
Nous terminons la journée par une courte visite au château de Combe. Ici, les clients peuvent profiter d'un village encore plus calme que Lacock et l'occasion de voir un magnifique petit village des Cotswolds.

Our tour guide, WILL SHIPLEY, was absolutely FANTASTIC. Will made for an AMAZING day & we created many incredible memories to take back to the USA. Will spent every minute sharing historical antidotes and British history with us. The tour was fast-paced, lively & tremendous FUN! We had an amazing time on our tour of Avebury, Bath, and the Cotswolds with our tour guide, Christian. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited and kept us entertained throughout the day with interesting tidbits about the sites along our drive. He was a conscientious driver, and the ride was very comfortable as we took in the English countryside. I would highly recommend one of Tailored Tours trips!
Oz was so professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and accommodating to our requests to stop and use the toilets. He took us to some special places that we would not be able to find in our own and he helped make our trip very memorable. Robert the driver was also very polite and was a very good driver.
We were picked up at our hotel in London on time by Christian Mulcahy in his very nice comfortable van. Christian is a very knowledgeable, smart, funny, and wonderful guide. He went way beyond excellent to make sure we saw more than the typical tourist sites. We had a wonderful time. Our guide was very helpful and informative. He took us to places that were a little less known and places that buses could not get into. We really enjoyed having a guide just for our family because we were able to have our questions answered and our guide was willing to show us a few places that were specific to our interests.
Our family of 4 were very lucky to have been able to get Oz as our private guide and driver for a day trip out of London so close to Christmas Day. Oz was very professional yet friendly. His knowledge of the history of the places we visited kept us engaged during the drive and made it so much more meaningful when we visited the places to see for ourselves. Arrangements for the tour were easily done through whatsapp prior to the day. The tour was entirely at our own pace. Oz planned the itinerary well to make the most out of our day without us feeling rushed in any way. The vehicle was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was definitely a good break from all the walking we did when touring London by foot. Thank you Oz!
Our guide Oz. Was extremely knowledgeable in the history of the area. This added so much to our day trip. All stops were very good. We liked the small villages we drove through, the country side was very pretty. Avebury was very interesting.
There were 15 of us in two vans and we spent the day with Oz and Nick. They were both amazing guides, sharing interesting and unusual facts and stories on the drive and at our destinations. They were flexible (you kind of have to be when there are 15 friends traveling together!) and so much fun to be around. If I go back to London I would absolutely use them again for another tour!
