Arrêtez-vous au Wat Chedi Luang, le « temple du grand stupa ». Construit entre le 14e et le 15e siècle, ce temple était la demeure du célèbre Bouddha d'émeraude qui se trouve aujourd'hui dans le Grand Palais de Bangkok.
La place du Monument des Trois Rois à Chiang Mai en Thaïlande est une grande place ouverte au cœur de la vieille ville fortifiée. La statue représente les trois fondateurs de Chiang Mai, le roi Mengrai, le roi Ramkhamhaeng et le roi Ngam Muang. Le roi Mengrai dirigeait Lanna, le roi Ngam Muang était le souverain de Phayao et le roi Ramkhamhaeng était le roi du royaume de Sukhothai, prétendus pères fondateurs de Chiang Mai.

It was quite a dismal experience. I only realised after the activity that the ticket/ booking only included the driver of the tuk tuk and not a guide. It would have been nice to have an informative guide and I used chatGPT to teach me about the temples I was seeing. The driver also didn't inform me that the 3 King's Monument was closed. I had to ask to be taken to the market which was on the itinerary. I was dropped off at my hotel an hour before the stipulated tour ending time. Quite disappointing as most of what I saw could be arrived at on foot.

We just booked the temple tour no guide and it was spot on. Good way to see around town and a few temples at our own pace. For $45 it was well worth it. He even stopped at pharmacy and supermarket for us too. Very accommodating

We had an amazing experience with Non as our guide. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the visit truly memorable. Watching the sunrise at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep was absolutely breathtaking and definitely a must-do in Chiang Mai. Our driver was Dio and he was so awesome. He shared the history of the sites we visited, gave us flexibility to choose where we wanted to go, and even picked out an amazing restaurant for lunch. He was amazing! We also got picked up and dropped off to our villa. It was way more than I ever expected. We made some great memories. :) Be sure to generously tip your driver. Don't be the dude that gives Americans a bad name.

We had a great tour of the old town with 3 temples and an indoor market. The driver was very friendly and we could communicate well in English with him. What was a bit strange was that the driver didn't seem to know which tour we had booked. We then chose our own targets. We could have done that with our scooter ourselves but with the Tuktuk it was more pleasant and beautiful.
