Description

Really great experience to see the elephants and the sticky waterfalls in Chiang Mai. Our guide Paul was great, super knowledgeable, funny and attentive. The bamboo rafting was a relaxing added bonus. Great for getting to see the sights that are further out of the city. Our group had 20 people roughly over 2 vans and it was not too many at all.
Excellent experience - thanks to our guide Paul - informative, super cheerful and made the day a great one. Thanks also to Pro, our driver. Great team and excellent experience. The camp clearly cares for the elephants :-)
August 2026 - booked this tour for our small group of 3. It was impeccably organised. We received details the morning of pickup with the drivers name and number plate. They showed up on time (just 2 minutes early so we weren't outside, so they phoned us). The van was clean and air-conditioned and Pro drove safely. The tour guide was Paul and the driver was pro. Paul was informative and friendly. Excellent value for money as the full day was packed and included lunch. Lunch was noodles, veggies, broth and some chicken. This meant that it was vegetarian friendly (my preference but not something I requested). But Paul did check for allergies in the morning too, so I assume that dietaries can be catered to. Paul even bought some fruit for us to enjoy at the waterfall, which was a nice touch. The sanctuary seemed ethical, the elephants each have a keeper and seemed to be allowed to roam, however stayed pretty close to where the tours were as they like food. No bathing but you can see them bathe themselves or with their keeper. We prepared the food for the elephants which was also fun. A packed day of activities but without being pushy or feeling stressed. The bamboo rafting was also very relaxing and a great way to seem the rainforest. Paul offered to take our pictures for everyone and made sure we all had mementos. He also took some pictures of the rafting and had already sent me them by WhatsApp before we even finished the tour. We had an absolutely excellent time and I truly cannot find a single negative. Thanks Paul!
Such a thrilling experience with very close contact with the elephants.
When researching our visit to Chiang Mai we were excited to see elephants, and the sticky waterfall but weren’t sure how to get to them. We were so excited to see this all in one trip that also had a delicious lunch and a bamboo float down a river. Our guide Paul was amazing. He was informative, funny and even stopped and got us some Thai fruit to eat. Our driver Arm was great too. All around a once in a lifetime day. Being that close to elephants was a dream come true. Thanks Paul!!
Beautiful experience discovering history and life in thailand. Our guide, beatiful and smiling Amy, gave a special touch of happiness and special info about elephants and their life. Sticky falls at buatong a touch of freshness in the jungle, very funny activity for all the family!
Full day experience. Worth of the money. The trip advisor Tiger is friendly.
The tour guide Poppy was very friendly and helpful. He contacted us about our pick up time around 6.40am and arrived on time. The drive to NEH was smooth. We managed to did all the activities that are mentioned in the description. We heard that rafting and elephant bathing may not go ahead when the water is in high tide. Our tour guide arranged the activities in the order that we could do all as the weather allowed on the day. Poppy was also taking photos for our group through out and have made the day very fun and on schedule. I would recommend it everyone.
Nathan was an excellent guide and brought so much insight and care to our tour. Great family experience!
We had an amazing experience with our guide Tiger! He was very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole trip. He took us to the elephant sanctuary, where we had a wonderful time, and we also enjoyed an exciting rafting experience. Everything was well organized, and Tiger made sure we had a great and memorable day.
