Description

Elisabetta’s “First Time Florence with David” tour is a fantastic introduction to the heart of Florence. Her deep knowledge of the city’s history, art, and culture makes every stop engaging and memorable. The tour highlights iconic landmarks such as the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, the Loggia dei Lanzi, and the Ponte Vecchio, giving you a true taste of Florence’s beauty. A standout moment is the visit to the Piazza della Signoria to see Neptune Fountain and the replica of Michelangelo’s David, where Elisabetta’s insightful commentary brings the masterpieces to life. Friendly, passionate, and attentive, Elisabetta ensures everyone feels included and leaves with a deeper appreciation for Florence. Highly recommended for first-time visitors seeking a personal and enriching experience!
Grazie Will, such a pleasure to get to meet you and your wonderful family. All the best
I visited the Uffizi with friends and had Elisabetta as my guide. The tour was engaging, everything explained very well, calmly and in a way that, even for those who do not chew art every day, it was very understandable. We also understood the love you have for art and Florence. She was competent, likeable in also telling anecdotes about some paintings, painters or sculptors. The 3 hours of the visit flew by, without a moment of boredom. Very very nice experience, it will be the beginning of other visits with a very very prepared guide!!!
The guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery was excellent, the guide Elisabetta Marchi gave us great practical advice for the entrance and a beautiful explanation of the most interesting paintings of the Museum demonstrating a mastery of history and art without limits. Thank you Elizabeth for leaving us such a beautiful memory of Florence
Elisabetta is the perfect tour guide to discover Florence; knowledgeable in fine art history, local culture, kind and very friendly.
Grazie Giorgio, it was a real treat having you both in Florence. Till next time 😊
Elisabetta is an amazing guide who has so much knowledge, but she shares in a way that is fun and easy to follow. We toured with our teenagers and they loved their time as well.
Grazie Bekka for your kind review, it was to see you again after our tour in Siena in 2022 😊 Let me wish Happy Holidays to you and your lovely family (mum included!).
From the moment Elizabetta recommended our meeting location at a super convenient parking garage in Santa Croce until the moment she left us, but not before suggesting places to eat and other sights to see, she was always recommending places to go and things to do. She was not only an amazing tour guide but a wealth of information and was open to receiving follow up questions by text after the tour was completed. Elizabetta moves at a fairly quick pace as she navigates the streets of Florence, stopping at key points throughout the tour to shower the group with the rich history of buildings, architecture, and the politics of ancient (and not so ancient) Florentine times. She injects into her stories funny antidotes and observations of what her city was, is and becoming. Her humor made the time with her pleasant and felt more like walking with a friend who happened to be from Florence. She was engaging and answered all our questions, and occasionally inserted her personal views and commentary which for us, really helped us bond with the city more closely. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a very small group, highly personalized tour of Florence to reach out to Elizabetta! She’s a star!!!
Thank you so much for having me, it was a pleasure getting to know you all. Happy summer :-D
Family day spent in Florence, we took the opportunity to learn more about the history of the city with Elisabetta. After 2 minutes she was already part of the family too! Professional, friendly and never boring. Highly recommended for everyone!
A magnificent time spending my day with Elisabetta! Her depth of knowledge of Italy, Florence in particular and passion for history were a delight. She presented everything with interest, was entertaining and had a great sense of humor. She gave me excellent restaurant recommendations as well. I had so much fun, I was disappointed when the day was over. You will be very happy with Elisabetta as your tour guide!
Grazie Jeff, for your great review. This is so kind! All the best
Elisabetta is not only extremely knowledgeable, but she has a great sense of humor and made the tour and all of the history it entails, really fun! We have done a lot of tours with a lot of guides, Elisabetta is the best!
Thank you so much for a great review.
On our first trip to Florence we wanted an introductory tour of the city with a private guide, not a group tour which can be a cattle call. We found the Tuscany Trotter website and read about Elisabetta and her passion for Florence, so we signed up for her tour of the city, including a visit to the Accademia. Lasting a little over 3 hours, the tour was extremely informative and much fun. Elisabetta is an engaging, knowledgeable guide with a wonderful personality and we are so happy we chose her.
Grazie Judy and Bruce, a pleasure getting to know you and share my love for Florence and Tuscany with you 🥰 Hope to see you in Tucson in 2024 where friends invited me ... let's keep fingers crossed!
