Alfonso was a great guide, very knowledgeable and easy to follow. Would highly recommend this tour. We were at the Academia about 2 hours - well worth the skip the line!
Galya was the best guide! She made the museum come to life. Her "stories" about the art and the artists made it a truly amazing experience. We wanted to take her everywhere with us!

Our Guide Galya was very thorough and knowledgeable with stories about the Medici family, instruments, and Michelangelo as a person that were so historical and inspiring. She showed us David and how to take pictures of him at different angles and each anatomical detail and how he made the sculptures highlighting even his unfinished work and the assumption and crucifiction.
Overall a good tour of the gallery. You don’t exactly skip the line, it’s a 30 minute wait in line instead of a potentially much longer wait. The guide was very knowledgeable but not easy to understand due to accent and microphone issues. Pace of tour was excellent.

Not an in depth tour, but a great way to skip the line and hear some history. Galya was friendly and knowledgeable!
The company was unable to accommodate my original tour time, which was not ideal, but they were very responsive and were able to move me to an earlier tour, which I greatly appreciated. We met near the Galleria dell’Accademia, where our guide provided us with headsets and tickets before walking us over to the museum. Once inside, he guided us through several of Michelangelo’s works and spent a good amount of time explaining the David, along with other works commissioned by the Pope. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions throughout the tour. He also used a tablet to show us additional images that provided helpful context for what we were seeing. Even though the Accademia was extremely busy, he did a great job finding quieter areas where we could stand, listen, and ask questions. Overall, a great experience with an excellent guide! Once the tour was over, we were able to explore the rest of the Accademia by ourselves.
Outstanding experience and highly informative guide I was disappointed with last minute rescheduling which was highly inconvenient for me - so I’d recommed allowing time for this to occur
