Nous vous emmènerons à travers la magnifique ville de Mascate où nous visiterons d'abord la grande mosquée pour un arrêt photo qui, parmi quelques autres, est l'un des plus grands tapis iraniens faits à la main d'une seule pièce au monde. Le tapis pèse 21 tonnes et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 20 000 fidèles.
Mosquée Mohammed al Ameen située à Bawshar, Mascate, Sultanat d'Oman. il a été achevé et ouvert en juin 2014. Il est également connu sous le nom de mosquée Bahwan et mosquée Bawshar.

Le souk de Muttrah est le prochain, où vous pouvez trouver divers souvenirs et le souk de Muttrah, l'un des plus anciens marchés d'Oman datant de deux cents ans.
Le fort de Muttrah est un fort historique de la wilayat Muttrah à Mascate. Le fort se trouve sur une position dominante sur les collines surplombant le port naturel de Muttrah, ce qui en aurait fait une position imprenable pour défendre Muttrah des attaques tout en permettant l'observation du territoire environnant depuis ses tours de guet.
Le palais Al Alam "Palais du drapeau" est un palais situé dans le vieux Mascate, à Oman. Il a été utilisé comme palais de cérémonie par le sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. L'une des six résidences sultaniques du monarque, a une histoire de plus de 200 ans et a été construite sous la surveillance de l'Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, le 7ème grand-père direct du Sultan Qaboos.
Le fort Al Jalali, ou fort Ash Sharqiya, est un fort situé dans le port du vieux Mascate, à Oman. Le fort a été construit par les Portugais sous Philippe Ier du Portugal dans les années 1580 pour protéger le port après que Mascate ait été limogé à deux reprises par les forces ottomanes. Il est tombé aux mains des forces omanaises en 1650. Pendant les guerres civiles entre 1718 et 1747, le fort a été capturé à deux reprises par des Perses qui avaient été invités à aider l'un des imams rivaux. Le fort a été largement reconstruit plus tard.
Fort Al-Mirani est un fort, construit à l'origine par les Portugais, dans le port de la ville de Old Muscat, Oman.

We did the half day Muscat City Tour with Khalil as our guide. It was excellent. We were picked up on time in a 4WD, the car was spotless. Khalil spoke superb English and he has a very relaxed manner which we enjoyed and he provided great information on all the sites we visited. We definitely use Sunshine Tours again.

We booked a half day tour of Muscat and had Nasr as our guide. We fully enjoyed the whole tour and he was so kind to spend extra time with us so we had something to do before our transfer left Muscat later that afternoon.
