Ensuite, conduisez-vous dans les ministères et dans le quartier de l'Opéra Royal, qui est la principale organisation artistique et culturelle d'Oman. La vision de l'Opéra est de servir de centre d'excellence dans l'engagement culturel mondial. Ensuite, visitez Qurum Beach Photo Stop et nous vous emmènerons goûter le pain omanais au miel et au thé karak. Le souk de Muttrah est le prochain, où vous pouvez trouver divers souvenirs et le souk de Muttrah, l'un des plus anciens marchés d'Oman, après nous vous montrerons le palais Al Alam, le palais officiel de sa majesté. Ensuite, visitez les 2 forts portugais d'Al Jalali et l'arrêt photo d'Al Mirani sont les prochains sur l'itinéraire.

Vers 8h30, nous vous emmènerons à travers la magnifique ville de Mascate où nous visiterons d'abord la Grande Mosquée qui, parmi quelques autres, est l'un des plus grands tapis iraniens faits à la main d'une pièce dans le monde. Le tapis pèse un poids énorme de 21 tonnes et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 20 000 fidèles. Bientôt. - La Grande Mosquée est ouverte tous les jours de 8h00 à 11h00, et elle est fermée le vendredi. Si votre réservation a lieu entre 11h00 et 16h00, nous ne pourrons faire qu'un arrêt photo à l'extérieur, accompagné d'une brève explication.

This tour was fantastic from door to door. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is very impressive, the Royal Opera House surprisingly interesting for it's beauty and engineering feats (well worth the entry fee, the local guide here was terrific). Photo stops at the beach and Al Alam Palace were appreciated and our shopping excursion to Mutrah Souq was highly enjoyable. All of these landmarks were great to see but the morning was elevated by our wonderful guide Saif. Knowledge shared with obvious passion for his country and our many questions respectfully answered. Patiently took photos for us and provided us with an excellent lunch recommendation. Thank you Saif. You truly made our day and we hope to see you again.

Said guided us for 4hrs through the main views of Muscat, sharing a lot of knowledge amd information. If you have a long stopover I would definitely recommend to contact them for this tour. If tou don't have such a long stop over, plan to have it so you can experience the hospitality :)

Our trip with Khalid was literally amazing from beginning to end! He is such a kind, friendly, and professional guide, and he made our experience in Muscat truly unforgettable. We visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House Muscat, Al Alam Palace, several beautiful forts and historical monuments, and of course Mutrah Souq. Khalid made what could have been a standard city tour into one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment we met, he had a calm, welcoming presence that immediately put me at ease. He’s soft-spoken, genuinely kind, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Muscat, Oman, Islam, and the broader Middle East. No question was off limits. Whether it was history, religion, culture, or current events, he answered thoughtfully and honestly without ever making the conversation feel rushed. During the tour we visited the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, explored the Mutrah Souq, saw the Al Alam Palace, and even drove into the mountains for a completely different perspective of the city. Along the way, Khalid introduced me to Omani coffee, dates, sweets, and local traditions, making the experience feel authentic rather than scripted. What stood out most was how personal the day felt. This half day tour of Muscat was perfect to see the main attractions in just 4 hours. Pickup and return at the hotel were smooth and right on time. Vehicle was comfortable and my guide Nasr was fantastic! Nasr gave me all the essentials about the beautiful sites we visited and we even chatted about the World Cup and football in general. Nasr also kindly took many pictures during the tour and then sent them to me. I highly recommend Nasr and this tour.
