Votre Guide chauffeur vous attendra dans le hall de l'hôtel ou au 1er étage, en tenant une pancarte à votre nom.
En entrant dans le parc national de Yangmingshan, vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir des macaques de Formose. L'altitude est d'environ 700 à 1000 mètres, il fera donc légèrement plus frais que la ville. Les principales attractions sont les prairies de Qingtiangang et la zone de loisirs de Xiaoyoukeng.
Perché au sommet du parc national de Yangmingshan, le Qingtiangang est une vaste prairie plate qui offre une vue panoramique spectaculaire. Avec une altitude d'environ 800 mètres, la température est légèrement plus fraîche que la ville, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour une promenade tranquille ou un pique-nique. Pendant l'occupation Japonaise, cette zone a été établie comme ranch pour le pâturage du bétail. Aujourd'hui, vous pouvez encore apercevoir des buffles d'eau sauvages et d'autres animaux sauvages paissant tranquillement ici. En raison de sa haute altitude, la région est souvent entourée de nuages et de brume, créant une beauté unique et éthérée.
Situé à l'angle nord-ouest du mont Qixing à une altitude d'environ 805 mètres, Xiaoyoukeng est un parc géologique post-volcanique où vous pourrez assister directement à des phénomènes volcaniques actifs. En vous rapprochant, vous pouvez voir des bouches de vapeur et sentir le parfum distinct du soufre de l'activité volcanique. Cette zone sert davantage de plateforme d'observation, vous n'avez donc pas besoin de marcher sur une longue distance pour profiter des paysages impressionnants.
Le géoparc de Yehliu est l'une des principales destinations du nord de Taïwan, où se trouve une collection de formations géologiques uniques sculptées par le vent et la mer. Bien que le parc soit surtout célèbre pour l'emblématique Queen's Head, vous pouvez également découvrir d'autres formations remarquables comme Sea Candles, Fairy Shoe, Ginger Rocks et Princess's Head. Comme le parc est une zone ouverte et exposée avec peu ou pas d'abri, il est important d'être prêt pour le temps. En hiver, la forte mousson du nord-est peut sembler assez froide et froide. Pendant l'été, le soleil est très intense, il est donc fortement recommandé de porter des vêtements protecteurs ou d'apporter un parapluie et de rester hydraté.

The tour was full of beautiful sights. We were excited for the trip, but our tour guide Jennifer, made the experience better than we could have ever expected. She is Passionate about the history and knowledgeable about all the surroundings. Very comfortable car, punctual, and fantastic English speaking. My fiancée has a gluten allergy and she was so helpful translating with locals so she could eat. Thank you for the wonderful experience Jennifer!
We had a great day out of the city with Cody, the weather was perfect to see the park and Neolithic carvings. He got to know us quickly and what we wanted to do. We had lots of questions and he was able to answer them all. He had good knowledge of where we visited. 👍 He was a very safe driver; we drove back in a thunderstorm, no worries though. The pace was perfect.
Even though the weather was not good, we still managed to see most of the sights and had a wonderful time! Ben, our guide, was warm and friendly and accommodating. He also helped us take many lovely family photos. Highly recommend this tour for a break from the usual city sights in Taipei!

I'd highly recommend this tour for those who want to experience some of the interesting geological features and natural beauty of the Greater Taipei area. Hicks was an excellent guide and knew all the best spots. A very enjoyable short tour.

The tour was very flexible, and we were picked up from our hotel by Henry who was friendly and informative. Plenty of time was given at each location to enjoy the view and take photos. we were able to collect many stamps from the visitor center and had a delicious fresh fish meal. Paul was a wonderful guide who was flexible and easy to work with. The rains brought thick fog to Yangmingshan National Park that we needed to have a plan B. Paul brought us to Jinshan instead which is the first settlement of the Hokkien migrants from Mainland China. It was a good alternative . Yehliu Geopark did not disappoint despite the continued drizzle.

If not for the weather, this would have been a great trip. We could not see anything in Yangmingshan National Park because of the fog but I was already warned by our superb tour guide Paul Yang. Paul had a plan B though and he brought us to Jinshan instead to experience authentic authentic Taiwanese lifestyle. This is the first settlement by their ancestors who travelled from the Hokkien province of mainland China thereby having almost - 400 years of history . Yehliu Geopark did not disappoint.

Vincent is a wonderful tour guide and anyone would be lucky to have his services. Highly recommended, its a private tour with him walking alongside and supporting and sharing/teaching about the area sites. Its not too overwhelming and you still get privacy with ur family but also a fun uncle/friend to banter and chat with. He really matches your energy and I would use his services again back in Taiwan :)
