Au Mexique, nous avons une forte tradition de muralisme qui remonte aux années 1930. Aujourd'hui, le concept de muralisme a évolué. Les artistes peignent désormais les rues pour embellir les espaces publics ou donner un nouveau sens aux zones touchées par la violence, entre autres thèmes. Dans notre tour de street art, nous irons visiter le centre-ville, voir des peintures murales incroyables d'artistes de renommée mondiale, et explorer le monde du graffiti underground créé par des artistes locaux et internationaux. Nous apprendrons à identifier différents styles et techniques de graffiti et à acquérir une compréhension plus approfondie du monde du street art. Cette visite est parfaite pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas Mexico, car elle vous aide à vous plonger dans la culture de la ville grâce à son art.

This was really fun. If you have a couple of hours to see the city in a different light … don’t miss this one. I started to look at the street art in a different way. The guide, Estefania, is extremely well educated in art, art history, street art, graffiti and the current trends in the street art scene. She was able to more than answer all of our questions, including questions about the living walls and other things we saw around Mexico City while walking the city. Also, Estefania was especially a pleasure because of her enthusiasm for the subject matter. Great!
