I don’t have enough words to show my appreciation for the time Abdul (the guide and driver) spent with us touring Tangier, Morocco. He is a such a warm and energetic person, and went out of his way to make sure my girlfriend and I were having a fantastic time. He has such a friendly demeanor, and seemed like he was pals with everyone we came across while touring. Other guides, shopkeepers, etc were all so happy to see him while on our tour. I wish anyone traveling to Tangier the good fortune of having Abdul of their tour guide.
Mohamed is the absolute BEST tour guide in Tangier! We felt like a celebrity was touring us as everyone knew him and he knew everything about the city and country of Morocco. We had a driver and Mohamed which allowed him to engage with us during the car rides and walking around. The full day tour is a good mixture of car and walking. We experienced local food, rode camels on the beach and did some shopping in addition to seeing all the big highlights. Tangier is a beautiful place and wonderful weather. We would definitely recommend this tour to others. Thank you again Mohamed!
Beautiful day with a very knowledgeable guide and helpful driver. A good overview of Tangier featuring all the highlights.
Jamal provided us with the perfect day in Tangier. He not only knew his way around town, he also knew just about everyone on the street. He knew the right shops, the right vendors, the right prices, and the right cafes. We felt thoroughly immersed in the culture of Tangier and were very impressed with everything we saw and experienced. We highly recommend Jamal.
Excellent service from Hamza. We had to cut short our tour due to my illness on the day but Hamza was very understanding and couldn’t have been more helpful
The places we visited were enjoyable, and the guide/driver was polite and helpful. However, I booked a full-day tour, but the actual tour lasted only about 5 hours and 20 minutes from hotel pickup to hotel drop-off. The sightseeing was mostly completed in the morning, including Hercules Caves, a camel ride at Achakkar Beach, Cap Spartel, and Perdicaris Park. After that, instead of continuing with the listed sightseeing itinerary, I was taken mainly to rug and jewelry shops. The itinerary listed the Tangier American Legation Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and a 3-hour stop at the Medina of Tangier, but these were not provided as described. There was also no lunch break, so I was quite hungry by the end. Overall, I enjoyed some of the sights, but the tour did not feel like a full-day tour and did not match the advertised itinerary. Update: After I raised my concerns, the company responded politely and processed a partial refund, which I appreciate. They also said they would review the issue with their team. My original feedback about the shorter-than-expected duration, missing itinerary elements, and lack of lunch break still reflects my actual experience.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed several of the places visited and found the guide/driver polite and helpful. At the same time, we sincerely apologize that the experience did not fully match your expectations or the advertised itinerary. We understand your disappointment regarding the shorter tour duration, the missed museum visits, the time spent in shopping stops, and the lack of a proper lunch break during the day. Your comments are very important to us, and after reviewing your concerns, we were glad we could offer a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. We are also discussing this internally with our team to improve communication and ensure future tours better reflect the published itinerary and timing. We truly appreciate your balanced and honest feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future. Thank you again for visiting Tangier with us.
Our tour guide Oussama was an incredible. He was very flexible with the schedule and timed everything perfectly at the same time. He was very knowledgeable about all the major monuments in Tangier. We really enjoyed his calming presence and appreciated what he shared about the culture of Tangier. We had a minor hiccup with communication the day before the tour, but it was resolved that same day. Overall, we had a wonderful fun time!
it was our first time in Africa (and riding camels!) and we were a little nervous but our guide, Jamal, driver, Mustafa, and the team they assembled, put us at ease. this was an unforgettable day and we cant recommend this tour enough.
Ali and his team (guide Radi) made my 65th birthday unforgettable!! Who gets to try warm fresh camel milk straight from the source?! Not only that, but they had arranged that the restaurant for lunch had a personalized cake and the musician's sang me Happy Birthday in 3 languages. Very, very special day!!
Ali and our driver were wonderful guides on our first visit to Tangier. He met us at the ferry and we all were immediately struck by his friendliness and enthusiasm. Driving in a comfortably air conditioned van gave us time to hear about the history of Tangier- and our stops were beautiful and interesting. We opted to go to the coast and do a camel ride (a definite highlight)! We had the perfect amount of time to experience the winding streets of the Medina and learn all about the craftsmanship, artistry and history behind the colorful and functional rugs, ceramics and other items. The food stops were perfectly timed and the food was delicious. We 100% recommend Ali and would definitely book with him again if we ever return to Tangier
