À 9h30 commence notre visite à pied de Tremezzo, village typique donnant sur la partie centrale du lac, en face de Bellagio et Varenna. Nous marchons de Tremezzo à Ossuccio par une ancienne route de connexion, la «Voie verte du lac», découvrant des sentiers doux, des coins cachés de l'histoire locale et des vues enchanteresses sur le lac. Nous atteignons Ossuccio et de là l'île de Comacina en bateau public. L'île de Comacina est la seule île du lac de Côme, l'un des sites archéologiques les plus intéressants du nord de l'Italie pour le début du Moyen Âge. La zone, appelée Zoca de l'Oli pour son climat doux, est couverte de végétation méditerranéenne et d'oliviers pour la production d'huile locale. De l'île de Comacina, retour en bateau public jusqu'à Ossuccio, d'Ossuccio à pied jusqu'à Villa Balbianello, à Lenno. La Villa Balbianello est située sur un promontoire boisé sur le lac de Côme. Cet élégant manoir romantique du XVIIIe siècle et son magnifique jardin ont accueilli des écrivains et des voyageurs, dont Guido Monzino, le dernier propriétaire.

Isola Comacina est une petite île boisée du lac de Côme en Italie. La zone, appelée Zoca de l'Oli pour son climat doux, est couverte d'une végétation méditerranéenne et d'oliviers pour la production d'huile locale. La seule île du lac de Côme est l'un des sites archéologiques les plus intéressants du nord de l'Italie pour le début du Moyen Âge. L'île a été assiégée pendant une bonne partie du temps par les Lombards sous Authari. L'île a été envahie en 1169 par Frederick Barbarossa et des soldats de la ville de Côme, qui ont incendié l'île. La Villa del Balbianello est une villa située au sommet de la petite péninsule boisée de Dosso d'Avedo, dans la branche sud-ouest du lac de Côme. La Villa del Balbianello est célèbre pour ses jardins en terrasses élaborés, avec une célèbre loggia qui permettait aux spectateurs d'admirer deux panoramas différents sur le lac, d'est en ouest. L'emplacement de la Villa a également été utilisé pour des films célèbres: Star Wars (2002), Casino Royale (2006), His Demise (2016), Un mois au bord du lac (1995) et bien d'autres.
De Tremezzo, en parcourant des villages anciens et des sentiers doux, nous marcherons jusqu'à Ossuccio le long d'une ancienne voie de liaison romaine, la "Voie verte du lac" (environ 100 m de dénivelé, environ 8 km). Au passage, panoramas enchanteurs sur le lac, la nature et l'histoire locale.

Great day on Lake Como. This walking tour took us off the beaten path and out of the crowds for a bit, walking through neighborhoods and visiting historic sites on the island, then we had a lovely tour of the gardens of Villa Balbianello. Our wonderful guide Nadia was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of Lake Como, and provided lots of fun, practical information that only a local would know.
Nadia really knows her stuff. My husband and I took the private walking tour of Como and Nadia showed us great walking areas and was more than willing to help us plan anything else we needed help with.
Absolutely loved our walk. Our tour guide really knew her stuff. She even gave us ideas of other things we could do during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!
Nadia was an excellent guide! So great to connect with a local who grew up on the lake and is also well travelled! She took us on a nice scenic route away from the crowds giving us some great insight into the area. We walked a lot, learned a lot, ate lunch at a local restaurant and wrapped it all up with an amazing gelato. Highly recommend!

This was a tour of one of the most beautiful places in Lake Como. The gardens were amazing and the green belt magnificent. Alessandro was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and is someone I would highly recommend for their tour. I five him 5÷ stars.
Exceeded our expectation! Our guide Nadia is very experienced and passionate, who shared with us many local treasures. The path we took is completely out of the usual touristy area. Our family of five including five young kids truly enjoyed the beautiful and educational walk with Nadia. Value for money!
