I have wanted to do this event for awhile because of friends comments about the murals. The artwork was beyond words. Our tour guide gave us facts about the artist and the meaning behind the mural. I learned so much about Miami history and the history of murals in Wynwood.

There’s guides… And there’s guides!!! Wow! What can I say about our tour with Maryam! What a delightful, energetic, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and charming person we had the privilege of taking us around Wynwood and teaching us about the art and history of this area! One of best tours me and my partner have ever taken. We had such an amazing time being shown around with the extra tips of food and drink places along the way. Really felt like we had some truly valuable time with her (we were actually the only two people on the tour as the weather was very changeable) and came away with probably one our best memories we’ll have of Miami. We wanted to view Wynwood Walls and eat great food - what better way to do that than a Food Tour! Maryam kept a great pace, was loaded with facts of every topic, and took us to some great food stops with very tasty drinks!! You know you have an outstanding guide when others are sneaking up to listen! Maryam packed so much art, food, and info into this tour that we were stuffed - tummies and mind! This is an amazing tour and seeing this neighborhood with a local who is passionate about the place and its stories is wonderful! Plus Maryam is just so darn fun the time just flies by!!! The tour was amazing, the guide knew about all of the murals we asked about. There is a good bit of walking through the neighborhood and you end at the Wynwood Walls which was very interesting as well. Highly recommend.

The food was tasty and our guide, Noel, was very knowledgeable about food and the murals in the neighborhood. We started out at Coyo Taco and has a birria taco with consume and it was amazing. Then to Rishtedar for Indian samosas. The atmosphere was very colorful inside and the staff welcoming. The third stop was Le Sandwicherie for a local flavored veggie and fruit sandwich that was refreshing on a hot day. We then went to Manta for a Japanese-Peruvian inspired amuse bouche. The last food stop was The Night Owl for a decadent guava cookie crumble which was so addictive we will be taking about it years later. Amid all the food stops was a tour of the stunning murals in the neighborhood! We ended at Wynwood Walls gallery which had so many impressive works of art. My tour group ages ranged from 10 to 83 years old. We all enjoyed it and recommend this tour.
